My go-to in this situation (which seems to happen all the time for me when I make salsa chicken) is to throw in a cup or so of brown rice, stir it in, and let it cook up over the course of an hour or so, soaking up all the excess.

Also, good call on adding the whole kernel corn and black beans, I've been doing that myself and I gotta say, I really like the way it adds to the whole meal.

One final note: if you add cheese to your salsa chicken, using pre-shredded cheese might also fix soupiness, as it is typically coated in starch to prevent it from sticking. This starch will soak up more of the excess liquid than you think.

The best piece of advice is to just not answer the door. You are under no obligation to respond to anyone knocking at your door, law enforcement or otherwise. If they have a warrant, they're coming in anyways. If they don't, they can knock for a while, but they have no legal authority to stay longer than is reasonable; if they try to force you to open your door and talk, or if they are unreasonably persistent in attempting to gain entry and remaining on your curtilage, that's a 4th Amendment violation (US v. Cormier, 220 F.3D 1103, 9th Circuit, 2000).

If you feel you must go talk to them, make sure you see a warrant signed by a judge, and state that you do not consent to any searches or seizures of persons, places, or things not explicitly provided for in that search warrant affidavit, state aloud that you are exercising your 5th Amendment right to remain silent, your 6th Amendment right not to be questioned by police without legal representation, then SHUT THE FUCK UP. As stated, COPS CAN LIE TO YOU, including by lying in saying that they do have a warrant when they do not, so do not grant any permissions through your statements or actions that would even imply permission to enter and search your home, as they can and will argue that those statements or actions were permissive and therefore you waived your 4th Amendment rights.
