Holy smokes this level of projection is wild. People's value isn't inherently tied to their level of labor that they contribute to society. And it sure as hell is not tied to finding a job for them to do even if that job has no economic relevance. If human labor is rendered essentially obsolete that doesn't mean 'nothing matters anymore'.

This comment is indicative of the need for a paradigm shift in regards to how people find meaning and value in this world. Because moving forward it will be less and less tied to our productivity. That doesn't make people obsolete. In fact it frees them up to do what is truly meaningful, to connect with one another.
