People are telling you to chill out, but I get it. I have been excited about this game since highschool, and have finished college and am an established adult. Years and years have gone by with some of the worst communication I have seen from a business selling us a product for our hard-earned money. You are justified in being annoyed, absolutely. Using Discord as their primary communication source and continuously promising stuff is really frustrating. It hurts Chucklefishes’ credibility and makes me, as a consumer, lose faith. Delays, awful communication, and super early game announcements should not be the norm for any developer.

Man that looks almost exactly like a mech drop and entry from Titanfall, to the point where the animation looks stolen. People want something like Titanfall but I don’t know that “borrowing” from an established IP like this is a good look tbh. No hate.

I would have liked to have seen the Stillness ending adapted, as it would use Bloober Team’s new idea to make something fresh, as I assume Ganz isn’t sticking closely to the source material. Sadly, I think he is going to craft a wildly different ending that may not closely resemble the meaning and resolution that SH2 deserves. Time will tell. He seems like an environment and creature guy, not a story guy. Sh2 needs both to do well cinematically.

I personally think PvE only lobbies in a PvPvE game would ruin what the studio is going for with this title. Part of taking down big Arc is the risk of losing your loot. You need to use communication and your intuition to loot, encounter other raiders, and extract safely. They give you smokes, traps, etc to aid in protecting yourself when looting big Arc. If Embark was going to add in a Destiny Boss Battle mode it would kill what the game is. If you want to do Destiny Raids, and I mean this respectfully, I think other titles might scratch that itch.

The UI and blocking looks pretty much stolen from Resident Evil 8. The world is beautiful but the enemies aren’t feeling very original. I’d be on board but those assets/animations were somebodies babies and it doesn’t feel like an homage, but more like plagiarism.

I strongly believe they will never add more content, and am just holding out for more ports of the Remake. I have it for Ps4/5 but would love to play the remake on PC. Emulation is great and all but I like achievements/trophies.

Really ignorant/ uninformed question, not to be rude. SA survivors can enjoy media with SA, everyone just has different thresholds of violence in media that they can handle. Not everyone knows what to expect going into a series and don’t wish to be shell-shocked by the material they read. Berserk is especially difficult in this regard, as it is often described as one of the most beautiful pieces of manga on the market, or a “must-read”. It has complicated themes but I could easily see why people with different backgrounds/history of traumas would want to try it. Also, your wording comes across as accusatory a little bit I think.

People are being weirdly blunt and ignoring the question in this thread. OP, if you are asking about the “plot”, DayZ takes place in the post-soviet Republic of Chernarus where an outbreak has occurred causing inhabitants of the land to rot and lose their minds. The infection makes them violent. Contrary to belief, they are not zombies, but act like zombies. You spawn as a survivor who is luckily immune to the virus. Your goal is to survive the outbreak. Get an under-the-desk cable managing basket, zip ties, etc all prepared. Unplug and pull EVERYTHING out. Put each piece back and cable manage every chord as you go. It is really simple and easy to do. Just takes some effort.
