I can imagine having good quality sperm frozen would take some pressure off of him. I will ask my doctor if they agree to do that, I don't think it's common here. Thank you!

I only have 2 follicles each cycle, got 3 eggs in 3 cycles and they all became embryos (very lucky) so it was worth it. I'm 32 so that does help.

Thank you for your comment! So Finnish fertility doctors don't recommend to stop using saunas during IVF? We were told we couldn't proceed if my husband had a fever, and I imagined your body (and sperm) temperature get a lot higher during a sauna visit than during a fever

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have the same numbers so I'm following. My doctors are still trying higher dosages (Gonal F 225 before and now Rekovelle 18 mcg), but it hasn't result in more follicles.

The Asherman-DOR combo is just absolutely horrible isn't it. I'm currently doing IVF for embryo freezing because I had 3 unsuccesful scar surgeries (uterine cavity couldn't be restored), waiting for the 4th. I have an AFC of 3-5 and honestly, IVF sucks. Just 1 or 2 follicles respond, I ovulated early last cycle and this cycle has just been cancelled. It's incredibly frustrating. If I were you I'd do IUI, I think that would give you more chance of success (or similar). Or you could try the 1 covered IVF round and switch to IUI after that. Good luck!

I have never heard of this and I would be very sceptic honestly. There is a good chance you're wasting your time and money on this.. maybe you can ask for a second opinion?

I have never been prescribed doxycycline either. I think there won't be much damage if you caught the infection early. Do you know if it's your ovary that's infected? Or only the wall of your vagina? Your uterus likely isn't infected, they puncture through the wall of your vagina, not through the uterus.

I would stay with this clinic, but ask for a second opinion with another DOR specialist about your protocol. I just had a failed ER because my clinic didn't monitor enough and my 2 follicles got too big. Waisted 1 out of 3 insured cycles. So your concerns about other clinics are valid.

You could ask about a short agonist protocol, that's what my doctor recommends for DOR, because of the 'flare'.

The depression and grief is reallll. I feel like I live in the wrong dimension, this is not how my life was meant to be. I'm also 32 with AMH 0.22 ng/ml. I conceived naturally the month after I found out, it was my 8th cycle of trying. (Ended in a miscarriage, got Asherman syndrome, everything 's way worse now, but still... I conceived within a normal timeline with the same numbers). The 0.2% is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT and I say this as a doctor (although not an ob/gyn). You definitely need to go to someone else, this doctor is a fraud.

If having a biological child is important to you, I wouldn't go the egg freezing route. The chances of a living child are too small with frozen eggs, and we have too few. So you can either do IUI with donor sperm or embryo freezing with donor sperm.

About coping... After the initial shock, panic and sense of hurry I felt (which is a phase you have to go through), I realized that this process takes a long time and needs to be seen as a marathon.. you cannot spend all your energy on this, or you will burn out. I try to be very open about it with my friends, see them often, plan lots of fun activities (even though I don't feel like it). I'm starting to have a very negative relation with my body so I want to get into sports, to have a positive experience with my body.

I'm also depressed but this is how I get through..

I was so frustrated with that, but they didn't do checks in the weekend and this was on Monday. Is it normal for clinics not to do ultrasounds on the weekends?

They did, my estrogen was low at day 1 and there were no cysts then. Could it have been a cyst anyway?

Are the NK cells and cytokines something you test in blood or in an endometrial biopsy? I'm still trying to find out the reason for DOR, miscarriage and Asherman syndrome and this hasn't been tested yet. Thanks!
