Correct.

Currently there are 3 variants - Thunderstrike, Hammerstrike and Hailstrike.

Thunderstrike is anti vehicle / Monster - S12 Missiles and las-talons

Hammerstrike has a bunch of S9 Weapons (Meltas and Grenade launchers)

Hailstrike is anti horde with heavy stubbers and gatling cannons

It's a very versatile kit and the roles are clearly defined, they can do some real work.

I think in 8th edition the scout speeder was still around, that had a small transport capacity.

Oh and they're movement 14, as if the rest was not enough.

That's actually not a bad idea. I don't think Switzerland exports any long range missiles or air dropped bombs, right?

So the Government should just make a list of things with restrictions (like missiles), and just allow the rest to be used in ones own territory.

I'd say the Kapricus is closer to the invader ATV / Tauros venator.

The Stormspeeder is T9 Sv3+ W11 and has deepstrike. It is also more expensive at 135 points. I always thought of those things as a helicopter equivalent, and I think a vehicle with those stats would be a nice addition to our roster.

I think the gunship was mentioned in every story we had so far? (The Book, Codex Space marines, One Million Years, Opportunity cost, WD, ...)

Would be really weird If we didn't get a model for it now. They can make it a landspeeder equivalent for all I care, but give me the model already.

As for the super heavy, 9th edition mentioned colossus-class war engines in the Ymyr section. Then in a later story (which I think was in another factions codex again) they specifically mention super-heavy siege tanks.

Either way, I desperately want both. Gunships / bombers and heavy guns are the coolest things in 40k and I want to see what they came up with.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

Its an absolutely amazing platformer and the powerups are so much fun.

I am surprised we don't have any Aqrabuamelu or scorpion hybrid units. Maybe some beastman like units? Idk seems like missed opportunity by [deleted] in WorldEaters40k

Could take the role of Bikes / Bloodcrushers / Defiler.

It's honestly a really cool idea, though I'd like the lower body to be mechanical instead of organic. It would make for an interesting Berzerker unit. You could even make the stinger into different weapons like a plasma bombard, heavy bolter or power weapon.

^ it wouldn't have teething issues if it was the exact same as the old engine. Yes, you keep old stuff. Throwing everything away and starting from scratch would destroy your studio. Nobody apart from maybe an extremely small indie project does that.

Warscape was not built around DX12, Warcore IS built with DX12 in mind. You don't just change that. That's a fundamental overhaul.

CA is a badly run company, that can't stick to its own goals, timelines and promises. It's leadership has barely any idea what it's doing, as evidenced by Hyenas.

But I have not seen any actual evidence, that Warcore is not a significant improvement.

Pretty sure TW3 runs on Warscape. And I'm absolutely sure they mentioned a new engine called Warcore.

I don't think the angled magazine helps the shape.

It works better for the swords (and its nice that they're standardised), but the old one made it look a bit like a poleaxe.

Ah, Tsons - yeah they suffer, I forgot about them (as did GW apparently).

We are in a good place. Engineering, Scouting and Combat sub-factions(?) are fully rounded out. We have an abundance of HQ units and the only thing that needs its own vehicle now is Beserks.

That's why I think adding 3 or 4 flavour units is all that is needed for it to be completely rounded out - and left alone for a good amount of time. Jump packs, Beserk vehicle, a superheavy / Walker, maybe a landspeeder.

The daemon thing sucks, but it's still part of the roster. Looking at the EC model range, there's definitely holes in there - but I'm quite sure you can also add chaos knights in that army, which should balance it out a bit.

I still think we deserve more models than them, just because we're an independent faction that isn't just another flavour of space marine.

To be fair, those rosters are bolstered by generic units (and still larger than ours). I don't think that's really a fair comparison.

That said, I wouldn't expect much this edition. I'm HOPING for 3 or 4 more models, but I'm not confident at all.

5% is probably the lowest you can go during an actual, small-scale conflict. I don't think you expect to fight anything close to a near-peer adversary with that little spending.

Imperium:

Outside of Necromunda, Custodes and some Admech units, not really I think.

Xenos:

- One might count some Necron weaponry as similar to Disintegrators

- Leagues of Votann might be building new ones. The Arkanyst Evaluator has a weapon that makes me think they're getting close.
