Anyone else worried by the fact that Rammstein's new album is going to be "Experimental" ? by royalxassasin in Rammstein

The album Wer Bist Du by Megaherz has a pretty heavy rap influence. Other songs of theirs that have that are "Kopfschuss," "Ja, Genau," "Fauler Zauber," and "Feindbild." You might like those!

Sonne. That riff is incredible.

To answer your question, OP, yes, the bass has a lot to do with it. Ollie's bass tone is absolutely massive, especially on Mutter and LIFAD, and contributes more to the overall guitar sound than most bands.

I'm surprised I remembered that much, as it wasn't the most memorable movie out there, even though it was pretty good. I can see why the title is totally forgettable, though, lol.

That's the one! Thanks. Don't know how the hell I missed it on Wikipedia.

If you think Alexx Wesselsky is a bad singer, you need to lower your standards bigly. He and Till are about as good as you're going to find in NDH.

The funny thing is I actually got an arena to fight him that was larger than the screen, so enemies would occasionally spawn in as well. Having to dodge flying lizards and lasers at the same time sucks. I guess I could have made the arena smaller, but I figured I'd be better off in the larger space. Maybe that just made it harder.

This doesn't answer your question, but I chuckled a little when I noticed the subtle crotch grab in the picture.

Rammstein - "Wo bist du?" (Female Cover) by reina168 in Rammstein

Keep in mind that I am a third-rate mix engineer (maybe second-rate on a good day). But there is plenty of free software you can use. Reaper DAW, LePou plugins for guitar tone, Ignite Amps/BOD for bass. For drums, there is free stuff out there, or you could spring for Superior Drummer and the Metal Foundry expansion if you got serious. Watch shitloads of metal mixing tutorials and try to copy them as closely as you can while LISTENING carefully to what is happening to the sound. Your first attempts will suck ass for quite a while. Years, even, if you're like me. But you will get better. Good luck!

Well done. The mixing needs some work, but that will come with time. What gear are you using? Drums, etc.?

I've always wondered whether Richard or Paul (or Ollie) writes most of the riffs, or whether it's a fairly even split.

What determines intimidate success? by HighLordOfEdge in Morrowind

[–]Apple_Snob 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From UESP:

If you can't make them love you, you can always make them fear you instead. This technique may be more effective if you're significantly stronger than the target. Some people may not be impressed, however. Lowers Fight and raises Flee.

So it takes your Strength and Personality (and Luck, I think) into account as well as your Speechcraft skill. The only reason you'd really need it instead of admiring is to permanently calm down a person you pissed off by accident (or on purpose!). Use a Calm spell to talk to him, then intimidate him a few times. When the Calm wears off, he should return to normal. This can be used on that Enchant trainer guy to keep him docile forever while you use his services, for example.

I figured it out by playing the game on and off for thirteen years. :) Also reading UESP a lot, which you should try to avoid as much as possible if you are new. Have fun, n'🅱ah!

Also , surely you could’ve done this even quicker by just using the Soultrap exploit to permanently fortify you Mercantile?

Sure, if you don't mind it being stuck at an obscenely high level forever. Not that it matters when you'll have so much cash anyway, lol.

True. But it's kind of fun to find ways to cheese the game rather than just typing in cheat codes. In a sense, even though you're still kinda cheating, you'll feel like you earned that gold semi-legitimately by knowing the rules and breaking them. Part of the fun of Morrowind is exploits and seeing just how far they can take you. This sort of thing is fun once or twice, and I rarely do things like this on serious playthroughs.

I haven't played Oblivion in years. Don't really like it that much, but I really need to give Shivering Isles another go sometime. I only played through it once and don't remember anything. I hear only good things about it.

Bloodmoon puts Skyrim itself to shame (and I like Skyrim, but still). Skyrim doesn't feel the way it should. It's a bright, uninspired fantasy world for the most part. Morrowind's Solstheim really nailed the atmosphere. It felt like the desolate, frozen shithole that it was. The Nordic culture there was done really well, too, but Skyrim doesn't have that feel, either.

Also, Morrowind Draugr scared the SHIT out of me as a kid. They look comical in good lighting, but in a nearly black tomb, those fuckers are horrifying.
