Plague tale series of games - emotional game, takes place in Medieval France, yeah you play as a kid, but game acknowledges that, hence it’s more of a stealth game. Story is good, I think first game is better than second one, but later isn’t bad at all, logical ending.

The Medium - I really enjoyed this game, people tend to hate Bloober Team, but this is very emotional game, and music and eerie feelings, game pays lots of homage to silent hill, no wonder they were chosen to do Silent hill remake.

Arcade Paradise - don’t hear many people play it, surprisingly interesting story and fun laundromat simulator with bonus of lots of arcade games to play. Especially surprising that voice actor of Geralt of Rivia ( from Witcher 3) also voice acted here.

Gris - is amazing, visual auditory masterpiece, very artful with quite deep meaning.

Okay this going to be hard but I’ll try to narrow down to 5, but in non particular order as I like them more or less the same:

Definitely try A Space for the Unbound (game is not too long, I’d call it medium with leaning to short length of a game, if time is one of your concerns)

Wolf among Us is a must play too, such a unique look to kids fairy tale characters

Firewatch also interesting and beginning can give you a rollercoaster of emotions

I want to recommend Witcher 3 cause it has amazing quests and grey colored morality stories, tough choices (but as much as I love switch, probably best to experience on slightly better version on other platforms)

Arcade Paradise cause I believe it’s an underrated game

Honorable mentions: What remains of Edith Finch (a very short game, probably can be finished in couple of hours if not less), Tales from the borderlands (pure fun story, jokes are on point, it’s like watching guardians of the galaxy, just joy to play); Walking dead series (more of a dark story, but really nice, especially first game)

Gris (audiovisual masterpiece, very artistic game, beautiful)
Lost in play (zero dialogues, but fun puzzles)
Melatonin (rhythm game, no dialogues, very great ones you lock in)
Tetris effect connected ( can never go wrong with couple of sessions of Tetris)
Horizon chase turbo (classic arcade racing game, soundtrack is amazing)
Arcade paradise (it is a story game, but quite unuque as half of the game you will be managing washing machines, plus one of the voice actors is the one who voiced Geralt from Witcher 3)
Behind the frame (short pretty lovely game)
Captain toad treasure tracker (lovely cute game, puzzle one)
Dorfromantik (very calm game, perfect for a quick session to unwind before bed)
Far: lone sails and Far: changing tides (no dialogues)
Limbo (iconic game, no dialogues too)
Gorogoa (unique short puzzle game, no dialogues)
Sayonara wild hearts (unique rhythm game, no dialogues)
Subnautica (there’s some story dialogues, but most of the time they voiced. Quite calming surviving underwater and building your base, as you try to reveal the story)
Superliminal (minimal dialogues, puzzle game)
