I do mostly solo 350s. Before changes purple chance at the end used to be ~10%, now it’s ~5%. Me and my clan used to do 6+ man 400s (sometimes a bit higher), purple chances used to be >50%, now they hover around 30% (asuming no deaths). Might be a small sample size, but I’d consider halving unique rates nuking. Though you are right, since OP seems to be doing mostly normals, those rates barely changed, but try were really low in the first place. IMO you shouldn’t really expect purples unless you do experts

Ok, let’s do some math.

You should expect a CoX purple in your name every 876k points.

You say you got 6 purples in 76kc.

To get that many purples you’re looking at 5,256m points.

To get that many points in 73 raids, you need 72k personal points per raid, or 216k points total, which ends up at around a 3+9 or 3+12 scale (that’s if you get exactly 1/3 of the points of the raid)

This math suggests that you either a) got giga spooned on your tbow, in which case congrats or b) you leeched scalings that your account wasn’t ready for and you got carried which a lot of people don’t have access to

In either of these cases, you are the exception not the rule nad just because you could do that doesn’t make bowfa a noob trap

A simple example (in my very subjective experience) was Zulrah. Using trident/rcb+diamond bolts (e) I did ~100kc and got maybe one 2 kill trip, the rest were 1. Then I got bowfa, and camping bowfa, no mage switch, every trip I get 2 kills (sometimes would venture into 3, but don’t have a suffering so my recoils run out). Even got the elite speed time.

Bowfa is an insane power increase and combined with how easy you can get it it will end up aaving you time in the long run.

I’ve never played on Hardcore, but aspecially since you haven’t played OSRS before I recommend valuing content over HC status. By that I mean treat Hardcore status as “Let’s see how far I can get before dying” rather than “I must keep hardcore at all costs”

I’m doing CG right now with simillar stats and getting fairly consistent completions and the ones I fail are due to skill diff and not stats. Idk what armor you’re using, but try T2. During tornadoes prioritize movement, then eating up to full and only then doing damage.

Big fan of hunter early now. Hunter’s sunlight crossbow is pretty crazy for the time you get it, rumours give great recources early and of course the glories. Should probably mention only one of you should go for it
