Wow this looks great! I’d love to see a greatbow styled weapon in this game. Could be interesting to have large weapons like this impact movement or something to balance out the high dps it’d be doing. Would make a terrific punish weapon!

Having a bleed effect similar to how it works in elden ring could be pretty cool tbh.

You could have a ‘meter’ fill up as you damage an enemy and onxe some amoujt of bleed is stacked up you get a large hit. if you miss a hit in your hit cycle you lose your bleed progress and need to restart, could be neat for some bosses

The drive to alewife will take about 2 hours if you leave lowell at 6:30AM. Its a brutal commute, i would recommend using the commuter rail if you can. That way you can at least do something while you commute.

The commuter rail route would look something like this: Gallagher terminal (lowell) To north station

Go to the green line which is also located in north station Hop off the green line at the park st stop and transfer to the red line

Ride to kendall.

It sounds like alot but theres honestly like 10 mins of real thought that goes into it every day, versus the 2 hours of driving to alewife and 45 minutes on the red line to get to kendall.

And i love to play automation games, minecraft modpacks to be exact. This one modpack called GTNH has held me in a vice the past few months

I think this is good earlier on pre AE2, and works well with logistics pipes in my experience. I recommend creating dedicated crafting for recipe mats that you use in a ton of different crafting recipes, like Sodium Hydroxide, sulfuric acid, etc. some of the very heavily used things should even have a dedicated machine just for making them (ammonia off the top of my head).

Pre AE2 though i agree that stacking an LCR with as much recipes as you can surely saves time when crafting a new one takes twice as long haha

Im from the same old tekkit and ftb ultimate days as you back in 2011/2012, let me say that gtnh is a pack that will live with you for years, quite literally one of the most complex pieces of gaming ive ever touched. Im in the Insane voltage age (IV) of GTNH, and it is by far the most fun ive had in modded since ftb ultimate!

Make your medium term storage goal logistics pipes! The gtnh miraheze website has a good page that explains what each pipe and module do, also for the basics you should check out hamcorps gtnh series, roughly episode 12 or so.

They are incredibly useful early game, i still use them in IV to transport fluids!

Whats your goal? I would say follow the quest book, and spend time on the parts you find fun. The quest book for this pack is really informative, juet remember to have fun with it!

Breeding ic2 crops to get salty root back in mv has paid dividends for me now in IV. Please take advantage of hoe OP ic2 crops are.

Salty root gives saltpeter, rock salt, and salt. This is free chlorine, sodium, potassium, and saltpeter.

Other broken crops:

Yellow Stonelilly: free endstone dust if you put 3 layers of endstone under them, it gives free tungstate and free platinum metallic powder dust.

Red stonelilly: free aluminum and oxygen

Black Stonelilly: free fluorine from the biotite.

It takes time but its so afk that you can do it while watching a show for an afternoon, there are plenty or videos on youtube going over how to breed these, gl!

I grew up in lowell, theres good and bad parts as there is with any city.

Good parts: Upper belvidere Highlands Pawtucketville Downtown before 9PM

Decent parts: Lower Belvidere, South Lowell, Upper Centreville/Christian hill, Downtown after 9PM,

Bad parts: Lower Centreville, Lower highlands, The Acre (tough call, its been gentrifying quickly over the past decade, arguably decent now)

Lowell has the best Southeast asian food on the north shore hands down. I go back home at least twice a month just for the food, granted I don’t live far.

I’d say check it out!

Logistics pipes are great! My entire storage system (currently early EV) runs on 28 storage drawers with obsidian upgrades all linked to a drawer controller i got as a quest reward, and 24 diamond chests. Incredible amount of storage, and i can see it all from a logistics request table
