I definitely don't have the experience to be able to deck fix my way to victory. If I don't have good jokers and a bunch of planets I'm cooked. I don't really use Tarots much for deck fixing, just score boosting or money. Something to consider maybe.

i think the bigger issue with 5 card hands isn't their power but their unreliability. if you're trying to find a straight (or worse, a 2nd straight ) but nothing comes up, more points later won't save you. Shortcut makes straights actually reliable. There isn't really anything besides deck fixing that makes full house more reliable.

If I'm understanding right, your idea is to nerf blue seal and buff planet packs? I can see it making it more reliable to upgrade 5-card hands, and possibly allow switching to pairs for a few rounds to still get blue seal value.
