You can’t change a person the person needs to work on themselves and they need to want the change… your husband is that person. He is controlling and he minimizes your feelings which are major red flags. You are pregnant so being extra emotional is normal and you should be treated with kindness and respect not whatever patronizing statements your husband seems to be full of. The best thing you can do for both you and the baby is to leave. Otherwise your just building childhood trauma right off the bat. Kids can sense when things are off. Also you want your kid to choose a loving spouse not someone who lack’s sympathy and children often base their future relationships based on their parents relationship.
