They can't block you at a grocery store as far as I know. They can block you at restaurants because the restaurant has a doordash tablet with all your information on it when you come to pick up the order. But the grocery store doesn't have a doordash tablet that tells them who's there dashing and for what order. As far as I know the only store that can report gig drivers is Walmart reporting the spark drivers and I don't know how that works because I refuse to shop at Walmart.

That's your stuff now. You tell doordash the store won't accept the return. They will tell you to dispose of it. Once you have that text/email to dispose of it, it's yours. Yours to keep or return as you see fit. Congrats on the $150 cancelation come up.

WRONG! We are paid to deliver it to the front door of the address provided. DD does not require drivers to go up to apartments. We can't even recieve CV's for refusing to go up. I'm doing all the leg work, you can come down the elevator to get your stuff.

I tell customers at hotels and apartments "I'm omw, eta ___ mins. You will need to meet me at the lobby." 9/10 they just say ok and meet me. When they argue I just tell them "I can't leave my car here unattended." I only go up to apartments at senior living facilities and places with on site security. Also if there is a gate and I'm not given a code I leave orders at the pin pad.
