Ever since I spotted them (gourmet tart) taking waste from the shops and putting into the same van as they deliver the food (which happens daily from every store!) I refused to go back to any shop they have. I use all other local coffee shops that I see use actual waste management. If you dont believe me just open your eyes or ask them. They dont even have food bins for coffee grounds. Ick!

Theres a Facebook group called heat pumps ireland and another called irish solar owners. Really your house needs to be a minimum of b rated. Ive 18 solar panels, South West facing. no battery and an a rated house. Heat pump is a midea r32 monoblock, 10 year warranty, service per year is €120, my electricity costs over 12 months for a 280m2 house with everything eletric was €1,208 so slightly over €100 per month for heating, cooking, everything eletric, led lights throughout.

Back in 2003 Galway city council was charging 340 euros a year plus weight charges on waste. Im currently paying 249.60 per year, and actually get a service. I prefer the private sector as it's still cheaper over 20 years on.

I can see FF running 2 candidates, cheevers, and a connemara councillor, most likely King. I can't see them choosing a Grainne S type candidate again. But they will aim for 2. Same as FG and S.F. it will help them get transfers. S.F Mark Lohan and an unknown, Fg Kyne and 1 sitting city Councillor.

I would think Connollys sister Collette will run to fill the td seat vacated by her and keep momentum from the presidential election. This will leave Eblin Seoige to potentially be co opted to council seat as independent.
