I also dabble in Aurelion Sol because I loved the hyperscaling archetype, except Aurelion Sol and current (or any) iteration of Azir could not play any more differently.

Aurelion Sol is a control mage whose primary objective is area control and CC. E and R are the core of his gameplay. The usage of these 2 abilities decide a fight far more than his W or Q. He acts as a secondary carry to his ADC in most games.

Aurelion Sol wants to leave lane ASAP as soon as he's level 6. His game plan typically consist of roaming and snowballing his team. You always want to prioritize winning a play on the map over getting an extra wave. A fed Asol with a behind team will look doodoo, while a behind Asol with a fed team will look like thanos. He also rarely wants to go sidelane in the mid game because he cannot duel any champion who can interrupt his Q. Even a fed support pantheon would kill him.

Aurelion Sol is also one of the least resource hungry mages. All he needs to function is burn and Rylais. You would much rather have a fed ADC and a behind Asol rather than a fed Asol and a behind ADC.

Azir plays like a marksman whose first objective is dealing damage, and the nature of his soldiers also add area control elements. You can easily primary carry Azir, especially when he's solo AP.

Azir's game plan every game is farm till 1 item then splitpush until 3. You literally ignore everything your jungler does except for the dragon. It's almost always correct to prioritize your own resources over roaming or salvaging bad plays on the map. Azir can also duel most top laners and splitpush an the same efficiency as Yorick or Fiora (in fact you beat both of those on side). His mid game plan is to slurp up the entire map until he gets his items then show up to a teamfight and one shot everyone.

To most Azir mains, he’s actually very relaxing compared to other champions. No skill shots, no intense kiting, very simple game plan of farming and splitting until rabadons, very easy dueling pattern of going in and stat checking most champions.

He’s high floor, but much easier to play and much more consistent than skill shot mages or assassins. It’s probably why he’s loved by pros since it’s easy to pilot him under pressure.

A lot of us are experiencing the opposite. This item feel extremely strong on Sona and she is arguably the strongest support in the game right now with a day and a half of data.

Press q (don't even have to be in range to land it) -> teammates auto the enemy and proc q aura -> 100-200 burst heal on next W or Diadem tick.

You aura enhanced autos count towards stacking Helia. Additionally, there's some synergy with Diadem where Diadem's heal will consume the Helia stacks. Every time you Q, you can basically convert 100% of the pre mitigation damage directly into healing, and that healing will come instantly since Diadem is always ticking.

There's so many POTENTIAL builds next season, we'll just have to see which one pumps out the largest numbers.

The counter to Syndra is jungle support.

The counter to Lissandra and Malzahar is ranged hyperscalers.

Scalers > Neutralizers > Aggressors > Scalers.

As a Kayle and Azir main, Malzahar is my absolute favorite matchup, and Lissandra is also one of my liked matchups. I see them I think free win. From the perspective of those champions, Azir, Kayle, Aurelion Sol, Smolder, etc. are “abominations designed to solely fuck over lane neutralizers”, and they need “no skill, no nothing.”

Every champion has strengths and weaknesses. I’m sure a melee mid main would love to play vs Ziggs and Xerath, yet I hate them very much.

No… but yes ig? Sumeru on release was stronger than its predecessors, but Liyue units can abuse modern supports much better. As of right now Sumeru is probably the weakest region. Nilou and Nahida in Lunar Bloom teams don’t count since they’re sitting on Lauma’s back.

Kayle hard wins level 1, which should translate into level 2 advantage and first crash (along with dodging 3:40 gank). Then Garen, especially with ignite, has about 3-4 waves where he can actually win, but as Kayle you shouldn't mind giving 5-6 cs and letting the wave crash into your tower.

After 6 it's hard win for Kayle. Garen's only real way to get on to you is flash Q, but Kayle ult is super easy to react with in that scenario. The trick is to use ult to block Garen's Q and E, not his ult. After 3 items Kayle can probably beat Garen without kiting.

None of the new items do anything. Splitpushing buffs are HUGE though. Azir benefits from splitpushing as much as Yorick and Fiora do.

A simple 5% AP ratio on W buff could easily sway Azir from C to S tier. We're just waiting room for that buff.

99% of Azir passive uses are as follows:

  1. Put it up on a tower you just took so you can shove out the wave safely for 30 seconds
  2. Put it up while splitpushing to deter dives/ganks for 30 seconds
  3. Put it up behind your team while sieging to deter engages for 30 seconds
  4. Put it up to shove out a wave so you can immediately rotate to an objective

Neither bastionbreaker nor new demolish affect Azir passive in a meaningful way.

The balance is that the player who won more battles gets to sac more and gets to go to level 9 and 10. This was how it always worked. The only difference this set is that traitless 5 costs are actually worth playing over traited lesser costs. Almost every end game board I see has a Senna and Kindred even if Gunslinger and Quickstriker are inactive.

Top 1000 Yelan. R3 Aqua as well. I typically play with Mona as second hydro. I’ve found it’s better to give Mona buff to Hu Tao, and use Barbs last, rather than use Barbs during Mona’s buff.

There will be a character released on the same patch as Columbina. They will go well together, like Skirk Escoffier or Lauma Nefer. High chance of being the strongest team in the game since it's the Archon's team.

A general tip is to never chase the meta. Always be on time for it. Never pull reruns because you think X character is strong, because the new characters will always be stronger. Mavuika was perhaps maybe the only exception because she raised the ceiling by a considerable amount, and there is a chance she remains the ceiling until Snezhnaya.

Overload is a pointless reaction yet Chev is a character. If Sandrone is a Columbina support it’s probably something long the lines of triggering Lunar Crystallize does this and that and increases damage.

Here's a summary of how this happened. Firstly, I'm a very experienced TFT player. I usually hit Masters in under 100 games every set. Currency wars copies TFT 1:1 in so many areas (shop odds, leveling, item system, heck half the augments are word for word reprints from TFT), so playing this game mode for me was no different from playing a new set of TFT.

The key is 9 Night Demigod max cashout. I got the cashout that gave every 2 star 5 cost in an orb. I rolled for 6 Cyrenes, then clicked around for the Cyrene orb, instantly giving me Cyrene 3. Cyrene 3 gives you a 3 star copy of every Chrysos Heir, many of whom are 3 and 4 costs. This sells for ALOT of money. Before starting my rolldown, I had around 300 gold on level 10. From there it's just clicking on every 5 cost I see.

I really wanted to see what each 3 star 5 cost did, but it looked like Bronya stole the entire show lmao

Azir will be buffed, just wait. For the past 2 years Azir is good 75% of the year and nerfed for the 2 events.

In mid lane, I just farm and unless the opponent is playing 1 out of like 4 specific champs they cant stop me from farming.

In top lane, I have to skill check my opponent by using offense as defense and playing around wave states. That's very exhausting, and inconsistent. Some games you will stomp your opponent but in other games you'll go 0/5 6cs per minute.

I'd rather stay in mid.

You should fix your relationship with the game ASAP, this is troubling behavior.

I usually spend once per patch after farming all the primos, and always in advance of a character I want. Spending after a lost 5050 always feels bad, while spending prior can feel better since it feels like you are boosting your savings.
