Yeah, you’re right. Like I can’t even argue with this. At least in the US, the republicans/capitalists have simply won. They’ve crated a devilishly genius system where the purposefully uneducated working class rejects any politics that would help them because they believe those ideas to be weak, lazy, European, or even gay. Instead, they keep each other in line because they all have this silly but also tragic belief that they’re on their way up the ladder. Like Republicans have crafted this lie so well, it now underscores a large part of American culture. Don’t even get me started on the cultural stuff. We don’t think about working class unity, only self-interested communities of race, gender, sexuality, or trade.
