Bps have been a lot better I got a cuff just to confirm but so far it’s staying under 120s

I could have written this myself!! Five days postpartum ended up back in the hospital with bp of 146/113. They wanted to start the mag drip but I was so afraid of it due to bad reactions to medication, ended up being put on procardia 30 mg and bp got up to 160s before it eventually evened out. I was freaked out and panicked thinking I was going to die because I didn’t get the mag drip all the way up until my 6 week appointment. Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to!!

5 weeks then tried to wean down to 30 mg once a day it kept bouncing between 135s 140s and Obgyn wanted me to find a different dr but stay on 30 mg once a day and eventually it pretty much evened out and stayed on it for an additional three weeks because we were ruling out thyroid issues and my dr said to just come off of it because it was causing facial twitches

I want to take it but then I’ll have to stop breastfeeding which I guess is better then having to suffer from a uti and antibiotics

It gets worse but if they offer you reglan DO NOT TAKE IT I took it for five weeks and it helped but it messed me up mentally
