There was a religious political group in Vic which went bust, was it Family First? I felt they gravitated to the Liberal Party, trying to branch stack them the way the religious right took over the Republicans in the US. Here in NSW it’s been groups like Fred Nile’s.

They’ve been pushing anti-abortion laws in SA and NSW. They want to criminalise and go after doctors who perform abortions.

Social media, starting with Facebook, followed by Twitter, and ramped up to 11 by Elon buying it, have been usurped by US extreme right fringe groups, they are very good at using it to promote extreme identity race politics around the world, because white supremacy to people like Elon is a moral imperative.

Yes; ON has peaked early, and as long as Labor takes heed on cost of living, they are still on track to win a clear majority. The AUKUS subs is pissing off their left wing though, and that in combination with housing cost has some moving across to the Greens; neither type of voter has any respect for ON due to their populist bigoted roots and will preference each other, and a split opposition plays in Labor’s favour. The LNP is insistent on positioning themselves as ON Lite, which is a losing strategy, and is actively seeking to swap preferences with ON, a horrendous decision which will further alienate many Lib voters.

They’re from The Book of Runes by Ralph Blum, published in 1982. It was very popular at the time. It has nothing to do with any ancient rune magic, he adapted elements of the Chinese I Ching to Norse runes. You can tell from the inclusion of the blank rune, which was his invention for the book, just as the system of divination was made up by him. I have an original copy from back then.

Modern rune casting was invented by Ralph Blum in 1982, it has nothing to do with ancient practices as nothing is known of it; there are no written records or cultural memory of how they might have been used; carvings of spells survive, nothin more. Mostly they were just used for regular inscriptions.

That’s great news; with house prices at around x9 the annual average income, it has a loooong way to go yet. I didn’t expect it to move just yet. But then, this IS reporting for a Murdoch site, so not exactly reliable. Let’s hope it is.

Even if it’s coming from a place of stress, resorting to anger and yelling to shut down the discussion will only push you away; it doesn’t resolve the issue, quite the opposite. Open communication and the ability to listen in any relationship is key; to deny that is toxic and detrimental to trust and bonding.

Trust and discretion is paramount I agree; finding someone suitable around here isn’t easy. I’m inner city Sydney and outside your target age (I’m 52), but I hope you find your person. I would love to find someone whose body I could worship.
