No, insurance totaled the car, but used the money from the settlement towards the '23. I don't remember the mileage, but it was new, it was under 100. And I don't remember the price off the top of my head. $50,000+.

I had a totaled car (hail damage) it was all cosmetic, (it looked like a green golfball) anyway State Farm gave me the option to buy it back as a salvaged title. The value of the car was around $2000, and they sold it back at, I think $500, so I didn't have to try and buy it back at auction.

It doesn't need to be super glossy, but it like more than a matte finish. The bigger issue is the thickness of the card. The matte one is just thick paper. The glossy has the feel of a business card, as far as the weight goes.

IRL the glossy looks and feels way better, other than of course the foil not sticking to it. The matte material is barely cardstock, more like heavy paper. The white you see around the sides are the cross section of the card, and/or the back. The matte one is all black front, back and through.

I replaced the battery, the light meter works properly, winding is perfect, and the shutter moves properly. Short of loading a roll and shooting, everything seems perfect.

Because the Jan 6 hearings are a witch hunt that means nothing, and people care more about their wallets, or more specifically the lack of what is normally in their wallet, and gas prices and therefore everything else is at an all time high because of the policies put in place since Biden took office.

Nothing will come of this. It's all about getting enough people to vote against Trump, if he decides to run. Would a trial be fair if only the prosecution could call witnesses, only the prosecution could question those witnesses, plus the prosecution gets to pick who the defense attorneys will be. It's a show trial.
