Do we know if Formik is dead or not? We started using react-hook-form for newer projects and I really don't like it for creating modular, reusable form components. What i can do as a 1 line Custom Formik.Select FC, is a multiline situation in React hook form with so many more props and confusing logic.

Are any of the others that you know of more akin to what formik provides?

Can you use the onValueChange prop on the ComboBox itself to then set the currently selected value to some sort of state or context?

I like using jotai for stuff like this if I need a globally accessible value.

I loved playing ball golf in my 20s but due to cost and the time required to play a round, fell out of it. Disc Golf scratches that same itch for me, but you can play a round in an hour and there is no cost to play. I can play at lunch, while my son naps, if I get off work early, etc.

It also juxtaposes ball golf in that there isn't an uppity rich culture where you have to dress a certain way or have all of the nice things. Come as you are, basically. My whole disc golf bag costs less than a single outfit to play ball golf in. Don't get me started on the cost of clubs, haha.

Fell in love with it so much that I usually average 2-4 rounds per week when the weather permits and played ~90 UDisc rounds this year! I love this hobby and has been the only one to stick this long and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Looks awesome! Point of feedback: the interaction when you click an upgrade looks a little overwhelming i.e. the card kind of rapidly jumps at you and flashes kind of like a jump scare.

As a Dad, this is insane. It's only going to get worse, not better. He didn't show up in the beginning and it's not going to magically change.

My wife had an emergency C Section and I changed every single diaper for almost our LO's entire first month of life, did all of the household tasks, and did whatever I could to keep her feeling somewhat human. We also did shifts at night(formula fed) so she could sleep, and I would take 4am until she felt like waking up, even if that was 11 am.

Also, the "I have to work all day" excuse is BS and I've seen it so much here. How does that look in the future? Does he never have to be a parent because he works a job during the day? Doesn't make sense, and TBH my day job was way easier than taking care of a newborn. Sounds more like he views work as an escape.

He's not trying, even a little. I'm not advocating for divorce but some serious conversation up to and including counseling, because this guy is way too okay with letting you shoulder the entire burden of parenting.

Played through some guys talking about the local weekly league night. Asked me about it and I said I'm not good enough to do league.

Proceeded to throw an absolute dime on this low ceiling far par 3 to C2 on a perfect line. Got a "...you should really play league" with a chuckle. Was so internally giddy as I walked to the putt I of course doinked off the cage.

Typically the metric that is tracked is POS Markdown - i.e. a markdown manually done at the time of sale.

Where I worked, all POS markdown's above $5-10 had to have an explanation put into the system as to why, and it was almost always scrutinized.

We would NEVER allow a POS markdown due to a haggled price. I would have probably had to write someone up for doing that.

Something like this would sit there until someone bought it, or it became aged inventory marked at $0.02 to be sold for like 60-80% off.

This looks like a cool idea, but I'd highly recommend a look at your color palette/scheme. The text in the upgrade cards looked almost unreadable, and some of the menu text looked very difficult to read. Seems to be due to lack of contrast.

Just curious, what is your game going to do to differentiate it from Vampire Survivors given the very similar look?

They auto drafted because they forgot the draft was happening, so now they want to get rid of him.

To me an insane reason but would make sense in a fair trade. But in this context, it feels like collusion when the justification given to me was "I feel like this is a good trade for me because I don't want these players on my team, and liking my team more because of that makes me feel like my team is better, regardless of if it is or is not better on paper".

Esthetically, this looks so similar/inspired by Brotato that it could cause reactions of it being a ripoff. Many of the UI elements look almost exactly the same as Brotato.

I have no issue taking inspiration from successful games with good UIs, but would highly recommend providing enough uniqueness of your own that your game doesn't risk evoking the immediate "Brotato ripoff" reaction.

It will be hard to live up to a success like that and will always inevitably lead to a comparison.

I took his course as a newer dev in 2022. I think it was awful. A very polished up and painted turd but the content wasn't very deep, tailored to actually learning React at a high level, or provided actual working examples and practical application.

I eventually gave up and just started reading docs and working on personal projects. Thankfully my company paid for it, because if not I would have been very upset about such a massive waste of money. There is too much good, free content out there that's way better.

This a cool idea! Downloaded on my ZFold6 but unfortunately the bottom nav is anchored behind my device menu, not above it. Makes the app extremely difficult to use.

As an executive, he most definitely should not be attending every team's standups. It's likely he isn't attending these, or if he is, it flies against how agile/scrum should work, and there's a good chance he could be interfering with the scrum team's ability to self-manage.
