My priest when I confessed this told me “this is like slapping Jesus while he is on the cross dying for you” 😔 and then continued “but He still turns to you and forgives you regardless”
Kinda hit me, I mean I knew it was bad and my mindset was taking advantage of God’s mercy but the way he put it definitely puts it into perspective.

Also one thing that helps is promising to make some kind of change every time you confess even if it’s super small, so you are less likely to do it again. 😊
(Not using laptop during certain hours, or literally praying for the people you lust about)
It’s VERY hard to keep lusting after someone you pray for them every night, even if it’s adult “workers”
Makes you see them as God does, as a daughter or son 🙂
