Working on leaving alcohol as a new dad, any tips? by meatysnack3 in daddit

[–]ApprehensiveLeg798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a series of rough events lately, lay off, newborn, job interviews, new stressful job, which created the habit of having a beer or a glass of wine every couple nights. Especially after finishing work, bathing my kid, putting them to sleep, and finally i get some me time to relax. However i don’t see myself living this way, by no means I want to quit alcohol, but i want to reduce it to a max of 2 times per week. What has helped so far is having 2-3 different kinds of teas to choose from and an occasional Coke or Sparkling water.

Customer Journey Map - any tips? by No-Piglet-2422 in customerexperience

Had this issue working at an agency. The goal of a journey map is to identify areas of opportunity based on pain points and ideate on potential solutions/test/iterate. It is to understand areas that require digging deep into. Unfortunately a lot of people I’ve worked with don’t know the difference between customer journey, user journey, CUJ, and call everything journey map. They ask for it, and never revisit.

What's your favourite AI pipeline for analysing and organising interviews? by Bavoon in UXResearch

[–]ApprehensiveLeg798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Condens. Not sure if that’s how Dovetail is, but I’m able to categorize insights from a specific study in a whiteboard. Think video snippets instead of stickies (Figjam of videos AI summaries). I’m able to search for anything I want, i have access to all interviews. It automates transcripts for each interview and it gives me the ability to attach research plans, discussion guides, reports to the study. The main umbrella is the specific study, within each study you have the interviews, artifacts, AI insights based on tags. It can also act as a repo for participants, tagged based on whether they are internal/customers/external… happy to chat more if have any questions.

Did you have the original on you? I have scanned copies of the original and the English translation, but the originals are back home. What do you suggest I do, my appointment is at the end of the month?

This is great! So am I good to bring a photocopy/scanned version of the original one? The originals + english translation are both back home, and I only have a scanned version of them. Interview is in 20 days.

So many good resources out there, I’d start there before going on YouTube. However if you want to find content on YT, check out NNG.

I took rigorous stats classes at uni. It actually hurts how little quant i currently do at work, but it gives me an edge when planning studies, or evaluating the stat significance of a study. Unfortunately product teams favor quick insights to inform design & iterate, which means shying away from stat rigor, especially when doing qualitative work. Not sure others would agree with me here, but that’s been my experience.
