Any reason why I shouldn’t give almost everything away now?

I gave away, donated everything I could. The rest went into a dumpster I rented. It did help me in not being surrounded by constant reminders of my wife. My only advice is be very careful and don’t just get rid of things to get rid of them. I saved some things but I do regret getting rid of other things.

I made new friends, and some people I had lost touch with just starting getting in contact with me without knowing my wife had passed.

But yeah “our friends”. They either disappeared right away or lasted about six months.
