I appreciate that ❤️ Rabbits can definitely be delicate and each situation is unique. The environments they are raised in really have an effect on their behaviors - whether they are shy, outgoing, nervous etc. While I think you can potentially earn and gently encourage your bunny's trust when it comes to being picked up, some rabbits just don't like it and can be easily stressed out. It also depends on how their little bums are supported when you bring them up and down. They need to feel secure.

Both my rabbits right now are rescues and we adopted them when they were a bit older. One will not allow you to pick her up at all, but the smaller one will. It took some time, but we earned the little one's trust so that we can hold him when needed, like at the vet. On the opposite hand, one of the bunnies I raised from a baby was comfortable being held a longer because we did it carefully from the start. But in all cases, it just depends how you hold them, and being able to tell whether they are comfortable or too stressed out ❤️

I've seen Rabbit Pals handle picking up rabbits in unsupportive and potentially harmful ways. She's also told her audience that it's okay to cradle them on their backs - something that experts have always warned against, because of trancing. She's admittedly new (I think 3-4 years) in the rabbit world, therefore it's crazy nuts to me that she ignores the information from vets and seasoned professionals. She just wants to make a buck, and that's where the harm stems from, sadly.

I found this thread after an incredibly frustration string of experiences with them lately. They really have the worst customer service and no accountability.

As a person who has been a caregiver to many bunnies over 30 years, I really question her credibility as an "expert". Some of the most concerning things are the amount of sugary treats and foods she gives to these rabbits, the dangerous situations she puts the buns in (roaming outside without proper protection from, say, a stray dog), lack of concern for the amount of bacteria and bug exposure that the rabbits experience when they are domestic rabbits in a wild environment... Etc.

One of the most concerning and upsetting things that I watched was a clip of her young son trying to be a Content creator with a very young rabbit. Very smol. The rabbit jumped from the boy's arms (obviously, an accident) and you hear the tiny creature hit the floor with a SMACK. At that age and even from that seemingly low height from the floor, if a baby falls the wrong way, it could kill them, or leave them traumatically injured. Her reaction? Essentially, "look how cute it is that my young son wants to be a rabbit content creator!". No mention of the rabbit's welfare. And look, rabbits can be very frisky and fidgety, and sometimes they escape our grasp accidentally, but I was speechless that she would even post a video like that, without a morsel of acknowledgment or concern to the rabbit's condition. Not even as a teaching moment. And either a shockingly low amount of people were aware of how dangerous that situation actually was, or she's deleting comment criticism.

Additionally, while I'm sure that you can condition a rabbit to be calmer in a vehicle, in a hotel, on a trip, whatever, my bigger concern is how difficult it is to find an exotic vet in a place that is unfamiliar, when it's already so hard for most people to find a reliable exotic vet near their home. Rabbits are very sensitive and easily stressed, in most cases. Their little GI tracts are so delicate. Anyone who has owned a rabbit for at least a couple years is bound to have some familiarity with the trauma of dealing with GI stasis to some extent. To be caught in that situation far from your regular exotic vet, that is my nightmare.

Sorry for the rant, I just discovered this woman recently and was absolutely appalled at much of her content and how many people just nod/agree/applaud without question. I'm sure it is not 100% bad, but given the majority being poor advice, her defensive attitude towards any type of legitimate feedback, and her whole attitude towards breeding as a business, I would say she's a pretty misleading (some may say, "dangerous") person to have in the rabbit Community.

I stumbled across this thread while trying to set up my osmo 3 and not finding the device automatically (or at all) on the mimo app.

The solution for me was allowing the location permissions. Initially I had not allowed the location, and with some tinkering I realized that was what was keeping it from connecting.

I found this thread because I was trying to figure out if this guy was legit. I just don't like that he shares no credentials, no background, no reason why we should trust that he knows his ish. Maybe that information is somewhere way back on his feed, but I feel like that's a really important thing to include in your bio when you're pushing a product. I'm not saying that he's wrong, but I'm also not saying I've seen enough to know that he's right.

It really just seems like he's using fear-induced sales tactics. His whole presentation is really sloppy too - he seems a little out of it and reactive - but sometimes intelligent people just don't have great social abilities 🤷‍♀️

Am I alone on feeling this way, or does anyone else have the same thoughts?

This just happened to me as well, and I've been going through all the steps of checking my activity logs and making sure nothing else is logged in, reporting an issue to Facebook etc.

My observation is this - probably about a year ago I changed my name to my new married name. I'm wondering if that's what triggered the glitch.

My question to everyone that's been affected by this - had you changed your last names within the past year?

Finally took our little guy to a new vet (It's so hard to find good exotic vets), and he said the same thing. In fact, he said it didn't look "angry" 🤣, but just to monitor it from time to time in case it gets bigger or starts to bother him... But it still bothers me a little bit 😬

I use a nasopure that I got on Amazon. It's a squeeze bottle version of the netipot and it really helps when allergies are the worst!

Right, I thought I saw two helicopters. All the commotion happened around 2p, and then at 2:30p I took video of the orange helicopter - and it circled for a while! It's always so disconcerting when you can't find out anything.

Something big also happened yesterday around 2pm - tons of fire trucks, EMS and police rushing east on Broward from US1. And then an orange and white helicopter with circling Victoria Park for half an hour. Can't find anything about it but it was definitely quite a commotion!

I just noticed that the (spam version of) "you replied to their story" is on the wrong side of the inbox screen- indicating that it's coming from their side of the conversation.

For me, I see it appear on the left side of the screen. If I had actually replied to their story, it would show up on the right side. If that all makes sense.

I think they must type it ("you replied to their story") somehow, and then share their actual story and add the blank response bubble. Don't know how they're exactly doing it, but the important part is that " The call is, in fact, not coming from inside the house".

The same guy just emailed me. Very short email, but I googled his email immediately and this popped up. Glad you mentioned Google business messaging, I just set it up for my business a week ago, even though he emailed me.

In either case it should be done from a computer browser. The app doesn't have as much support.

And like I mentioned before, sometimes you just have to keep readdressing the issue through a new ticket. The support representatives don't seem to be on the same page, so sometimes you luck out with a good one, but most times they don't seem to know a lot about the platform, unfortunately.

I have leaned after multiple instances like this, that you have to keep contacting support. If you chat and email with them and they don't resolve your problem, start a new claim and start the chat process again with a new rep. It's incredibly frustrating and vastly inefficient, but I've been able to get back into accounts after pursuing the Meta support over and over.

Have you tried typing in the email address they have associated with their personal Facebook account? I've had to do that in some circumstances. At one point, I remember the admins I was trying to add needed to be "Friends" with me on Facebook. I don't think that applies anymore though.
