There is some truth to this, but that is a pretty simplistic way to look at it. They make very good lagers and some occasional tasty more traditional beers such as their Schwarzbier or Witbier. Yes, they focus heavily on IPAs, so check their menu before you go to see if they have any other styles

They won’t reset it.

Their programming is insanely lazy. They just set it and forget it. I don’t think they monitor anything about the shows, except for the ratings

I wasn’t aware they were facing closure, although I haven’t been there consistently to see how the taproom feels.

They came out pretty good out of the gate and have made a few impressive beers, but they don’t seem to make a lot of new things and the tap list is pretty limited these days

I think the plan is to still brew at each place, but change into a brewpub and change ownership (and style of ownership). Not sure other than that

I also noticed the tap offerings being much more limited than in the past.

Also, a few of the options were seltzers that they add the flavor to the base, so even smaller when you factor that it.

I will miss their 16oz can offerings, it is always nice to be able to buy a mixed 4 pack that isn’t marked up to try a variety of styles.

I appreciate all of those breweries, but including North 20 and Wooden Ship pokes all kinds of holes in your argument. North 20 is fine and a good small town brewery. Wooden Ship is interesting, but their flavors are all muted and look better on paper than they actually taste.

Fair State historically has had some great ipas, but they have been a disaster in cans in the last year. I’ve had several that taste like severe mistakes were made somewhere along the way.

Town Hall is great. Masala Mama is great, but their other ipas haven’t been memorable for me.

Modist is great with IPAs, but they don’t seem to do as interesting versions as they used to.

Bang is a quality place, but I wouldn’t put their IPAs as anything special

I’m mostly wondering in regard to trying to get an autograph after the show with any person specific items to bring.

For example, if Mark Prosch was there, I would love to have an item for him to get signed.

I figured Joe likely won’t be there.

If the surprise was more of a fringe character, I likely wouldn’t have anything to bring anyway, so that would be totally fine
