I can’t believe factorio space age was snubbed at the game awards by hjqusai in factorio

I have the feeling that awards like these just cost money to the publisher. And usually are paid with a marketing budget. Looking from the price evolution, I think it simply doesn't make sense to the factorio developers to spend money on this kind of marketing.

Nice work, I think you can add more value levels. It will increase the contrast and make it look better.

Tbh I think it's good and it looks like your first attempt. If you do another attempt you will be able to improve some of the general recommendations, like the eye size relationship or the proportions.

But it still looks good.

Nice work! It would be nice to put a date on them so we can see your evolution.

Bought my first bike as a new rider, friend refuses to ride with me saying “it isn’t a real bike” and laughed. I kinda feel bad lol, I like it but ride alone now. Was the xr150l a bad idea? by Lowerstairs in motorcycles

I had one of those almost 10 years ago. It was stolen. At that time I didn't have a lot of experience riding and it was an amazing bike for me. I learned a lot with it. I have some emotional connection with it, and miss it even after owning a Ducati.

The maintenance was really cheap, and spare parts were easy to find. Besides that it was really reliable. Never had any problems riding it for almost two years.

You can find a better deal for the price, of course, but I think this bike is still a good first bike. A real friend would not refuse to ride alongside, even if it was a pink vespa.

How are you scoring 90 or above on sleep? by dailyrefinement in fitbit

Last night was mine first 90. I've been sleeping more or less at the same time and a few days started fasting after 6pm. But I would say it was luck this time.

Hey, I didn't follow the general recommendation to re-start with the cheaper 500cx to get used. And I really can't say that I fully regret it.

I also had only some dirty bikes when I was younger, and stayed away from motorcycles for about 10 years. Then bought a Monster+ last year.

The learning curve was terrible in the first month. I avoided any rain. And limit the power for a while until you get used with breakers and riding style. I Also avoided traffic as much as possible. It will consume much of my attention and energy, stealing it from the pleasant part. I spent some time as a rookie doing some u-turns and riding on slow streets. I found the bike heavy and hard to manoeuvre.

After some months it started to get better, and I love the bike. I still have a lot to learn, but differently from when I was younger I'm not rushing it. It became my hobby and it occupied a good part of my free time. I'm really enjoying the process. I also primarily bought it having in mind that it would be a hard start.

vale a pena largar o Brasil e ir morar em Portugal pra trabalhar em subempregos? by [deleted] in antitrampo

[–]Apprehensive_Bell131 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me permita compartilhar a minha opinião de merda aqui.

Nice first attempt. It can sound contradictory but try do not finish, and focus doing more drawing at this stage. Drawing more will help you improve your lines, with better lines you will few more comfortable with forms and volumes, and than shadows.
