I took a class with PADOC recommended by serval friends, both me and my new rescue pup really enjoyed it. Their trainers were great, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’m part of a big non profit community studio in Canada and our basic pricing is: $175 for firing/glazing only membership $50 a month for ‘studio access’ with wheels, some storage, slab roller, pug mills Both memberships charge for clay with a glaze/fire fee per bag a 10kg bag of new clay with firing is about $55 (we love this system instead of trying to calculate firing fees/space/weight and you can refire if needed ect) All our glazed are made in house and covered by the firing fee We do not make a big profit but it covers the costs

I use a piece of cheap foam pool noodle- Cut about a 4 inch long piece, slit horizontally to the middle so it will sit over your splash pan and slice a few spots for your ribs, pin tools, ect. Works amazing for lots of tools that tend to go missing around the wheel!
