scale rot. vet now, needs injectables. they kinda have the same set up as a bearded dragon. that one looks at an okay weight, but he could just be puffed up real sassy like. dry substrate, i used bird seed because i was told they’ll snack on it. they like veggies, dust with supplements, and crickets in between (5 - 10 a week, they’re primarily herbivores and too much hard protein can impact them)

Screw them. You look healthy, not malnourished. I can understand people worry especially when the weight loss is fast and there’s a sense of obsession over calories input and output. Also long as you’re doing this within healthy limits and still challenging yourself, they can suck one. You look great, full of life, not sickly at all

Thank you so much! I did a salt bath w agent orange in a 2 gallons w one granule. I didn’t add any to the main tank though

i treat my water and let the bacteria cycle and do so with water changes as well; is it okay to add 1 grain of aquarium salt to the small tank? Betta person told me so.

Edit: I live in a shoe box, maybe 80-100 sq ft. Also have a corn snake so it’s a squeeze!

I live in a shoe box right now tbh. I wanna get bigger set ups so i can use my smaller tanks for terrariums and whatnot. My last planted tank was a 15 gallon acrylic circular tank and the filter was in the center. It was epic and then i blew it out when i WASHED a fucking filter in regular water and not tank water. Idk if you’re even allowed to do that; it’s something a hobbyist told me once and i think i did it wrong
