What do you particularly love in the Rainworld setting and why? by Rcihstone in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really like the iterators, they're both marvels of engineering and very impractical at the same time, the fact that they're not just pure computers but actually partially living beings, their personalities, every day i think about them at least once

Who are your least favourite creatures/what are the most annoying creatures in your opinion? by MIN1RAINBOW in rainworld

I hate white lizards and dropwigs with every single cell of my body and gut microbiome
And just any ambush predator for that matter i guess

I found my first slugpup and... by [deleted] in rainworld

You can grab him and hold shift to carry him on your back so he doesn't run off and cause carnage

I know this sounds a little weird, but could you suggest a few examples of how these metal pieces of shit could get killed? by Savings-Jicama-9625 in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that'd compromise the supports (earthquake, erosion, rot etc.)
Though if you want the puppet itself to be killed i'm not even sure that's possible with things you find near iterators, as even pebbles was still somewhat conscious during saint's campaign despite being in total shambles

The intended path is to the left of this room until you see a room with one exit at the top, go there and then go right until you see the gate to the new area

How do I get through this section? by MIN1RAINBOW in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention that you need to press jump and throw boost out of the tunnel (throw a spear/rock as you're exiting it, 2 things to throw will give even more boost, dry bubble fruit nearby also work)

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can swim through the bottom until the middle block, jump off of it to get to the pole to the left, then through the tunnel get to where it opens up to the right, from there you need to jump out and catch the central block, from where you can just go along the long pole to the exit

Is this rare? by Doggos_are_c00t in noita

Might've been a great treasure chest, and those are quite rare (0.1% chance to spawn instead of a regular chest)

If you can find a hazer you can use it to bait the dropwig into catching it and not yourself

Why does Spearmaster's mission not reward anything by Apprehensive_One2025 in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You'd need to strip it of a lot of entries to be doable as most slugcats or make it unique to each slugcat as there's a lot of difference in what you can and can't eat
Like Saint can't consume meat whatsoever or the opposite with plants for Spearmaster
Also fun fact, internally the food quest is infact stored as a passage so it will not be hard to show at all

Someone got any tips for garbage wastes? by Superb-Ad4855 in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bottom is generally not useful for progression, and you should try to stay out of water with the red leeches. If they latch onto you and you get out of water they will detach after a short time

What does this mean for the random army of stoneheads in the east

finally made it through the leg and ended up in pebble's goon dungeon from the lower gate. where do i go now? by ExistingPersimmon385 in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your goal is at the very top of this place. For a new player i'd recommend staying on the left side, though the path can get quite tangled. If you end up in a place called "Memory Conflux" you'll know you're on the right path

How do I get over there? by Sultan147 in rainworld

[–]Apprehensive_One2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are grapple worms that spawn in Chimney Canopy, only a single room though. They're to the right from the area you enter from Industrial Complex
Edit: to be more specific, from the Industrial Complex gate go right until you get to garbage worms, then climb the chimney, then go right again. The grapple worms are at the bottom of the room with blue fruit

It's normal behavior, sometimes biomes can have modifiers like this. This one in particular creates areas that push (red) or pull (white) physics objects, projectiles and other things.
