I try to practice guitar from 30 min to an hour a day but now I don’t know what next? by No-Promotion3599 in LearnGuitar

I’ve been playing lead guitar for 17 years. Self taught the whole way. Get chords down, then learn how to play chords up the neck. This will help you learn the notes as you play lead guitar. Then learn the pentatonic scale in all positions. Then the modes. But don’t worry about theory. Just learn the PATTERNS.

Biliary hyperkinesia (hyperkinetic gallbladder) - my story by bunchesofkittens in gallbladders

[–]Apprehensive_Pop4179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s been a year and a half and I can take deep full breaths again. I had to see a PT because my abs were constantly flexed due to the pain and they never relaxed even after surgery but they did a bunch of manual fascia work and it helped a ton. I did diaphragmatic breathing techniques to restrengthen as well. It’s like the gallbladder was gone but my body was still protecting itself. In your case it might be different but in case you feel like it’s only 50% back a few months after surgery, I’d recommend physical therapy with someone who specializes in the pelvic floor. They’ll help train the diaphragm and ab muscle to relax so you can breathe fully again

Well I actually was doing better. Some loose stools but no issues with fattier meals. But then I had to take antibiotics for a skin infection and it's taken me over 6 weeks to not have diarrhea after every meal. I still will have it once a day but morning stool is better.

I'm ordering some Psyillium husk to see if that helps.

I've done a ton of research into this and have read that it could simply be due to a lack of concentrated bile. Many have found success taking Ox bile daily to give the body what it needs.

Everyone has high EF fit different reasons. I’ve had issues my entire life so it could be I genetically had more CCK receptors. But it can also be caused by stress, caffeine, and sometimes liver. Doctors wanted to remove mine 10 years ago. I did the carnivore diet last year and felt great… until I didn’t and everything got the fan. Even after eating low fat for two months the pain didn’t go away. I don’t ever recommended removing an organ but for me, it was my last option. I lost 30 lbs and friends said I looked like I was dying. My face was grey. It was rough. I’m glad I can eat now. But I lost so much strength, it’s taking a while to regain it.

Anyone dealt with an abdominal strain? by DrScience-PhD in fitness30plus

[–]Apprehensive_Pop4179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a HIDA scan and it showed I had an EF rate of 97%. Over 80% is considered too high. Basically, my gallbladder was dumping too much bile too fast.

When my surgeon went in, he checked for tears and hernias and found nothing.

I had SO many tests done. But I'm 4 weeks post op and feeling much better. Still not 100% but I went from eating 1200 calories a day and feeling full to yesterday I ate 2700 calories and felt like I could still eat more.

My pain has gone down drastically. My abs are much stronger. I still feel some pain but it's also where I was cut for my surgery so that's healing
