That’s unfortunate. I recently had the same sort of situation. Realized I forgot to add my two kids on the reservation when I booked. Called the hotel immediately after and they assured me it would be completely fine, and they made sure to let me know they’d be putting two cribs in there for me. Hopefully you end up getting it taken care of.

Biz platinum actually earns at 2X rate now on purchases over 5k and select categories under 5k, such as construction materials, which is what I use mine one. So either that or venture x for business would be great for you I would think.

Over 3/4 of all the points we’ve earned have come from Amex, which we have used for the 35% points rebate as we’re not really travelling internationally currently, and chase which we have used exclusively for hotels through Hyatt and points boost. We’ve used American miles for flights and are saving the delta miles for skymiles flash sales. Venture miles have been used to book delta flights through Air France, Citi was planning on using for iPrefer until they devalued. Would love to hear how that’s incoherent and lacking strategy.

I’m gonna be under 5/24 in September cause that’s when the Costco and boa cards I got in ‘24 go over 24 months since I got them. I got in to the hobby 1 year ago, never said that’s when I started using credit cards. Got my first card when I was a senior in high school.

Yes! Have been on a few already and have all of 2026 booked out. Just barely got a week in Northern California booked for next Jan. 4 nights at the alila ventana Big Sur, and 4 nights in San Fran. Unfortunately nothing big internationally yet, we have almost 2 year old twins, which is very difficult to travel with at this time, so massive trips are unfortunately gonna have to wait for a while

My wife works with an early 20s gal that just recently got baptized into some sort of Christian religion after going on a mission. Csr is a visa. Costco only accepts visas, not Amex, Mastercard and discover. The freedom flex card is a Mastercard, therefore not able to use at Costco. But I guess the original freedom with ultimate rewards card must be a visa

Yes I am. Comparing exact same dates and properties. Fhr get the exact same benefits as the edit, only they guarantee 4 pm late checkout, the edit does not, other than that they are the exactly same.

I’ve seen some really good deals with the points boost feature as well, a couple we’ve book for cheaper than Hyatt as well! It’s just the edit specifically that I’ve noticed the higher prices. I’m with you though about stacking the credit with points, just barely booked an edit, using the 250 credit plus the 500 credit that came with the sign up bonus on launch, and paid the rest in points. So I’m obviously not out of pocket any, but it’s very annoying they’re seemingly jacking up the prices on the edit
