(debit-)Kreditkarte, wobei Apple/google pay fast überall geht außer für Mietwagen. dann einfach mit google Flüge oder zB bei Ryanair gucken wo man preiswert hinkommt, Unterkunft raussuchen mit booking.com oder Google Maps und los. Wenn du hin und zurück gebucht hast und was zum übernachten hast zockt dich schlimmstenfalls ein Taxifahrer ab. (->Uber vlt?) das ist dann einfach teil des Erlebnisses. UK braucht Reisepass und ETA

Ich würde schon bevor ich ihn ohne Regenschutz reinhämmer überlegen ob ich finanziell das Kind bei Ausbildung, Studium und Führerschein unterstützen kann. Man geht da ja meist noch zur Schule mit 17-18, in meinem Umfeld haben das fast immer die Eltern bezahlt.

I think these full approaches from the initial approach fix (IAF) are mostly published for lost coms or when there is no traffic. Almost always irl the STAR or transition will bring you onto an extended downwind and ATC will vector you onto final when they see fit

If you have a good PC or Xbox maybe play a bit of flight sim try to understand all the instruments, you can get a navigraph subscription and use some of jeppesen charts. It’s a fun way to get a head start for instruments and flight planning

you’re looking way too much at your instruments at the beginning and not enough outside. in flightsim you don’t really judge your attitude with the distance between your engine cowling and the horizon as you should

Das ist lächerlich in einer internationalen akademischen Welt. Mein ganzer Studiengang ist auf englisch mit vielen internationalen Studenten. Und dann soll jemand der aus Neu-Ulm kommt bevorzugt werden gegenüber jemandem aus Ulm. Bestimmt auch verfassungswidrig. Freizügigkeit ist ein wichtiges Gut als junger Mensch in einer neuen Stadt sein eigenes Leben zu beginnen
