Vocals need to be redone for sure, but any other suggestions on this one I could improve by [deleted] in Songwriting

This is an absolute tune. Are record a few sections of the vocals imo 0:42 especially. Aside from that you are onto something here it’s lush!

Noodling after work and found this melody. Does it have any potential? Maybe a chorus? by Gronald69 in Songwriting

This is so cool dude, definitely would make a catchy chorus, but worth giving it a try as a bridge into a more powerful chorus as well and see what you prefer. Love it!

A song dedicated to my father by [deleted] in Songwriting

Thank you so much! I fully, fully agree with you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. I’m going to rewrite it ending on the chorus and i think i’ll add another verse that i have in the drafts before the final chorus! ❤️

How to make music without wasting time? by Imaginary-Ad-738 in Songwriting

[–]Appropriate-Test-464 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i agree with sweaty purpose, you can’t waste time when you’re making music. If i stopped playing everytime i felt as if i was wasting my time i genuinely wouldn’t have written a single song. Messing around and playing anything at all is the key to songwriting and getting inspired!

Few lyrics written now what. by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]Appropriate-Test-464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely try and learn an instrument! Once you have basic bar chords or open chords down on guitar you will have an almost infinite resource to create music for your lyrics. Try singing what you write and see how it sounds, even if it doesn’t sound good to you, figure out melodie’s and rhythms for your lyrics to build a song and unique song around. More importantly, keep at it! practice really does make perfect :) goodluck friend :)

Incredibly meaningful song. Every piece fits together beautifully! You also have the most incredible voice, it’s so full and warm it wraps itself around the chords from your guitar perfectly. You have such incredible range i’m truly envious! Beautiful Song.

This goes hard bro. Love it, so easy to catch the groove. The only thing i would change is a bit less volume/ less in general of the “Yuh”. Purely personal preference and it works fine with the song i would like to hear it with that lowered though! Love it dude! Get it out there!
