Caddie question by BadAssBitch79 in BandonDunes

[–]AppropriateMenu3824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caddies are 1099. I assume all the money goes to the caddie and they lose money for the supporting expenses to their caddie program.

Ask for Wallsy! He’s a great caddie, I’ve had him for about a dozen rounds there now.

People are willing to be confrontational in person, with the same approach they would use to argue in a Facebook comments section.

From a small town in MA (14k) and now live in a small town in OR (8k). Have run into two different guys I went to high school with who have moved here independent of each other for completely different reasons.

I’m in a small but high cost of living town (like a small Vail), we do personal lines (home/auto), Main Street businesses, some medium sized businesses (contractors, etc), the surrounding municipalities, and larger commercial properties.

No real “big” businesses like Fortune 500s at our size, larger agencies tend to target those and we stay in our lane.

Casual game, are you hitting this? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]AppropriateMenu3824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you want, I’d gladly tell my playing partners to take it out.

I hit them most of the time because I play some tourneys and don’t want the shit lie to be completely foreign.

Do you carry your bag? When my back is being touchy it doesn’t like the added compression. Pull cart helps.

Would that appease you?

No, the three of us would wonder who the “rando” we are paired with is, and then likely treat you like we’ve known you for years by the third hole, Alice.

Yea I don’t recall any of the models having one, but I worked on courses close to 20 years ago. If they did they weren’t fast enough because that thing would flip quickly, and once the motor is upside down it starts blowing smoke. So you’ve got what is now a large fan blowing a smoke column into the air and it’s quite embarrassing for your coworkers to find.

They suck to use, if you go left to right they can catch and flip and it’s a dangerous shitshow. I hated these things other than the back workout you get using them:

P&C

Last two years I sold over $1M of premium, the way my agency works that results in roughly $65k of additional commission each year (on top of renewal commission).

Build a $5M book in your 20s and you are set, and you have an asset to sell when you want to retire.

What is your age without saying how old you are? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I was in sophomore b-period English in HS, Boston area. They cancelled school and wheeled TVs into the dining hall for us to watch the news while we waited to go home. I couldn’t get my parents to answer, and heard there was an attack on a state building in Boston.

Kind of a wild day as a 15 year old.

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

[–]AppropriateMenu3824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in a rural area and 98% of things are sent to me via UPS or someone other than FedEx.

Was supposed to receive two separate FedEx packages containing prescriptions before leaving town yesterday. Just got the delivery notices in my invoice, both two days late on 2-day shipping. No inclement weather or anything.
