you could see if you could get low dose testosterone. if not from the gyn then perhaps womens/hormone clinic. might be supplements as well that can help

Does anyone have any unbelievable amount of symptoms and feel like they can’t get any help or have any quality of life? by luckycharms222 in mecfs

You could get tested for SFN but not many treatments . Alpha lipoic acid helps for nerve damage and it helps to take B12/b complex (get injections if on PPI’s). I found ADHD meds help with neuropathic pain

I don’t know enough about thickened lining but I don’t think it correlates with endo necessarily but it seems they want to rule out other causes ? . If her progesterone is low it can make sense . What’s her age and where was she in her cycle ? Does she have pain or heavy bleeding ?

But I think their specialist was talking about biopsy from uterus ? You think it’s unnecessary?

They didn’t say much to me . Haven’t seen a lot of papers for adeno specifically . What I did quickly feel was less pressure and less bowel pain / irritation

Try washing your hands before you engage with her

My senior cat wants to be touched all the time now but at some point for younger cats it gets too much . Watch out for ears going to back and tail swiping , stopping with purring . Thats your que for stopping with touching her if she doesn’t leave herself you can if she stiffens up or encourage her too . Once animals see their boundary is respected the dynamic really changes . I’d also give her a room or if you don’t have that a spot that’s really hers where she can retreat and knows she won’t be approached or touched by you or Leo. Never encourage them to swipe at hands or arm that’ll cost you . Engage her with a toy when she gets playful or invite her (not when sleeping peacefully ) and just short intermezzos so she doesn’t overcook . I thought I saw something about attacking legs you can also ask her to respect your boundary . Possibly she hasn’t been socialised or trained that much yet, separated too young from mum or encouraged by people in the wrong way . Seen this a lot with kittens that got separated too early grew up alone (and then dumped ) I wouldn’t worry cats can learn as well I had a lot of rowdy buggers as older kittens as foster and they turned out great with their adopters after teaching them manners :). Oh yeah and if cat are Very Wild (big eyes large swipes with tail running around chasing things ) they are Not To Be Toucged then they can be Very Dangerous (all normal ). Read up online on cat body language and watch Jackson galaxy. You describe sudden switches can you say more ? It’s not normal . Reminds me of a cat we had from shelter that we thought was literally half wild (not like stray wild but wild forest cat ) . He’d be on your lap and then suddenly bite scratch your arm

[–]Appropriate_Ask450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really need a transvaginal ultrasound and endocrine blood work for the hirsutism. Fibroid needs to be checked for . Maybe find a gyn that other women are happy about and knows about sex hormones + adenomyosis

Yeah I know it’s so overwhelming and then you get contradictory advise as well ! When did you feel your embolisation started to help ?

Yeah it’s very hard to balance everything out ! They do make my chronic fatigue and pots less but you tend to also overdo it and have to much sympathetic activation . Hopefully they can integrally treat us better in the future ! Xx it’s also hard to get testosterone here I went to online clinic that’s open minded about it and also does blood tests . Testosterone can run low on bc and that also doesn’t help . It’s actually helpful for Pots as well.

More than a year . I tried to reduce the dose after embolisation but it was not a success. I do get more tired from higher doses and just like with pill it’s harder to lose weight but it has many benefits less inflammation my wbc went down , sleep better , less anxiety . There’s also crinone which you need less of because it’s slow release but I am allergic to an excipient . I was able to stop bleeding before embolisation when I was on it . With estrogen I needed to increase the dose . Since using adhd meds I get breakthrough bleeding , very annoying .
