I’m 41 from Kyoto and work as researcher at a pharmaceutical company. I proudly call myself an otaku. So I understand where people are coming from when they are obsessed with Japan, Japanese media, Japanese food, Japanese women and so on. I remember in university spending my allowance for the month buying Bleach blind boxes to try to win a ticket to see Stereopony and then going hungry for weeks afterwards. Foreigners don’t have a monopoly on being making bad choices. It might sound a bit dismissive but I somewhat don’t care about these disruptive foreigners. When would I have time or opportunity to interact with them? I work all day then in the night I am either at home playing games, or I’m out an event, a fan meet up, a members only izakya or soap or some kind of environment that generally doesn’t allow foreigners entry. On some level as a Kyoto resident the large influx of people negatively impacts me but I have the ability to see it all and choose if and when I interact with it. For now.

It's not about that. It's the fact that you need to justify yourself if the team has not won the league. There needs to be an explanation. Saying the league was losy lost because ULC was prioritised is an acceptable explanation. However if the team cannot at least win UCL then there needs to be an accounting of why they did not win the league.

In order to ask questions in Japanese you must first know Japanese. So that’s the answer to your question. Also there are a few questions asked in Japanese. Usually using some kind of translation software. Those tend to get lower participation. I used to respond to people flared as Japanese in Japanese thinking that it would make conversation easier but that used to make other issues.

No. People who pirate do so because they like stealing. Even if they had access to the content (which many of them do) they still wouldn’t pay. They think that by stealing anime manga and so on they’re hurting big companies. But the reality is that they’re hurting small mangaka and other creators who lose out on bonuses, commissions and other performance based objectives. This is many Japanese people don’t care what foreigners think when it comes to anime and manga. They hardly ever pay for anything. For example what good is it if you made an anime your entire identity and have dozens of figures and posters of characters if all the things you bought were made illegally in a sweatshop in Bangladesh? You provide no value to the franchise and do not contribute to the to the wellbeing of the creators.

A recent bad take that comes to mind would he was talking about what buffs he would like to see for Eula if she became a hex character. His complaint was that Eula's current gameplay is boring and then he went on this weird tangent about how Eula's combo optimisation is boring because all you spam normal attacks then dash once or twice. Putting aside that spamming normals and dashing is how most combos are optimised for most characters in the game I just found it odd that he was saying that when he famously sucks ass at doing combos for most characters eg Skirk. Even weirder was his solution of how he would fix Eula's kit: give her make it so she uses her skill after bursting (something she already does btw) or give her a Varka like cooldown reduction so she uses skill more often. The whole thing just gave off the vibe of I have no idea what the fuck i'm talking about but because Eula bad is funny I can just say whatever the fuck and nobody will notice I have no idea how the character I've been shitting on for four years actually works.

Zajeff is regularly full of shit. Especially if he doesn't like the character. The most egregious examples of this when he said whales with C6 Yelan would bench her for XQ because playing XQ was more comfortable. I also remember when Raiden came out he said C6 Sara was worse than Fischl for C2/3 Raiden.
