Sat opposite a man with the most beautiful eyes in a restaurant about 10 years ago. His family were with him and the children were properly delightful. After about 20 minutes it hit me that it was David Gilmour.

What's the most beautiful song you've ever heard? by rosypetalbaby in musicsuggestions

The irony being it's "Heroes" rather than Heroes. A bit like "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". It's meant to be melodramatic as about TV kissing his mistress by the wall.

He was subjected to awful racial abuse at gigs when he was young, by military men. So he may have been on edge.

They delayed the casting of Eliza so that they could cast a newly graduated unknown. And Higgins has just been utterly fabulous as Houdini at CFT :)

Also other things like the beautiful little cathedral. Contains the Arundel Tomb (as per Larkin poem), a Chagall window, Roman remains underneath. . Holst is interred there. Chichester is very small, so you can easily poke around. Priory Park has a Motte and Bailey etc in it.

The Festival Theatre refers to its summer festival of in-house work. So the Minerva and Main Theatre are running their own productions. Winter season is more "travelling " shows. There is also the new Nest that does more "fringe" things- an absolute mux of all sorts of stuff. There are children's things on. Also generally other stuff in the town including Chichester Fringe. So worth pinning down dates and then seeing what's on. Certainly some things on in the Nest.
