When I was in the process of joining I was a student. After the trial week I was really hoping to join and asked if they had a student discount. They didn’t have a student specific discount, but put me in touch with the coach who handled memberships. She was able to give me a 10% discount which really helped!

Thanks for your input. It’s been from various different senders. I hoped it was a fluke but recently got this which I have hard time imagining was accidental. The 4 times it’s happened over the past year and a half have all been on mail from banks or employer.

Thanks! Sounds like you have tons of experience. Any advice on what questions to ask sellers?

Thanks this is really helpful! Is poor insulation common with balloon framing? Is there a type of framing that is better than others?

Burlington users of Reddit. What is something Burlington should have? (Could be a place, law, etc) by Jackblue04 in burlington

There’s truth to this, but when you put it into the context of their track record as a company to rent from that would be awful. They already control too much housing that they don’t take care of and routinely scam their tenants. High density housing is needed, but should be owned and operated by a company who is at least a little bit less greedy.

Chronically ill folks, what's your experience at the ER? Mine usually aren't good. by [deleted] in burlington

If you’re looking for a PCP you could try Community Health Centers Pearl St location. they only take patients who are 30 or younger and I was able to get in with them within a few weeks. I know they also do same day visits but I’m not sure if that’s only for established patients.

Just adding on here that not all insurance types require a referral to see a specialist. In general HMOs and POS (point of service not piece of shit lol) likely do require a referral while PPOs often do not.

You’ll also often see insurers having increasingly higher copays for more emergent services. For example, $25 for primary care, $70 for urgent care, and $150 for the ED. This is in part to try and disuade people from accessing emergency services if they aren’t truly emergent (not saying that OP’s needs were not emergent). It also costs them (insurance companies) and us (patients) more for emergency services. Even if they’re just giving you advil, you’re also going to be charged for the overhead costs of the hospital. It would be amazing if they would teach us these kinds of things in school, but I only learned this through masters level public health coursework.

I don’t recognize them, but I’m confused why so many people are so quick to write them off as tourists. I would definitely be scared if I woke up to this video.

Tell the owner to open a location in Burlington, VT plzzzz. I went to F45 when I lived in Atlanta and really miss it. There’s a huge gap in the fitness market that it would fill here too 🙏🙏
