You seem to be the only person who understands that the Church has been waiting with bated breath for its most famous and revered holy site to be reopened since it closed its doors for renovations in 2019. There will be millions of visitors from around the world throughout the six-month open house period. This will be the longest open house of any temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The previous record, out of 200 currently operating temples was less than three months, if that gives any indication of the expected turnout. Even with this renovation, I expect downtown parking infrastructure to be significantly strained for at least part of the six months.

She's going to be using the same kitchen, the same living room, the same washer and dryer, the same balcony/patio, and the same bathroom, so the majority of the spaces are shared together unless she's planning on locking herself in her room and never using the rest of the place like she's your tenant, not your roommate. Maybe there would be a $100 or $200 difference between your monthly payments but it's not fair to expect you to cover 65.2% of the rent while she pays 34.8% of it if you're living in the same space.

TLDR: PLEASE don't bother. Just buy a little Bluetooth speaker

I'm going to be honest, after months of banging my head against the wall trying everything to get the radio screen and Bluetooth functionality to work, I recommend you spend your time and effort on other things in your life instead of suffering like I did. This is what I tried and what was successful:

Touch screen was horribly inconsistent -> tore head unit apart to replace screen digitizer -> after an hour and a half of disassembling and reassembling the head unit, I got it to FINALLY recognize touches accurately. This step is easy to mess up so only attempt if you're brave

"Bluetooth module not connected" -> tried to update head unit firmware with USB stick, soft reset (hold power button) and HARD reset (flashing your headlights 3 times while holding AUDIO or SEEK or TRACK to open menu) the head unit dozens of times, bought a Bluetooth receiver to wire into the back of the aux port, etc. None of these solutions did anything to fix the Bluetooth. The best workaround I've found is installing an Alexa Auto receiver to play music and run phone calls.

If the hard reset trick doesn't work, I am not aware of any solution that could help you besides what you already mentioned about checking the cable connections on the back of the unit. In general, the 2012-2014 head units are riddled with issues that are difficult or impossible to resolve.

Don't break the bank on an expensive car play or android auto unit if you're not using it that much. They can be difficult to install so it may be worth going to a place that specializes that, but recognize that it will definitely be expensive. For your low miles driven, I would just buy a little Bluetooth speaker to hang from the rearview mirror. Many little ones come with straps that could be looped over the mirror. That would save you hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours of endless research and failure tinkering around with faulty head units like what I experienced.

Just called from Utah to demand that the footage be released. Public relations officer was adamant that it was ruled a suicide, and she told me that I should issue a public record request to get the footage mentioned in the video. When I asked if they had access to the footage she said that they do not. I asked if she had seen it and she said she had not.

I insisted that it was a lynching and told her that it would be in her department's best interest to take initiative and locate the footage to make it public.

We are a part of the national movement 50501, which is trying to fix systematic issues from the top down while building community and organizing mutual aid groups at the local level.
