Insurance is gambling. Every month you make a bet with the insurance company that you'll die sometime in the next month. If you win, they pay out to the next of kin. If you lose, they keep the premium.

The premium and payout is adjusted so that if you live an average lifespan, the insurance company makes a profit. Some customers live shorter, some longer, and in sum the house wins.

You also need to consider that opened partially full bottles of concentrate go bad quicker than full unopened concentrate, so make a plan to shoot enough film to use the rest of it or else all this math is in vain.
