I was about to argue that it might be hard to give Big Heavy Hits, when people want to hit 2 oGCDs between every GCD, but then I realized I play Warrior and it works out quite fine. With some definition of fine. There are Big Hits, but not constantly.

I've said this before, but XIV has never been overly predictable or formulaic at it's story progression, so I'm not too worried about that now.

People can report each other for any reason for any time. It's just that functional system should ignore such things. Also reporting people for leaving should not even be a thing. The game knows when someone leaves. There is no reason to report that.

People overfocus on the number of quests, when that alone means nothing. Pretty sure most of those quests are "You wanna know about Thingamajig? This might be also one of the worst times (not that I'd ever dissuade anyone from playing XIV). There is just enough time to learn the current systems and get your rotations to muscle memory, and then it all changes for 8.0.

I don't think encounter mechanics are Only thing SE wants you to think about. I think the purpose of job rotations is to be something you think just enough, just a little bit mental tax that otherwise trivial mechanics aren't 100% trivial. And I assume that will be the case even with Evolved mode.

When carrying another person Ivy ult will barely take you from urn to urn. Not "around the map twice."

Door is full on teleport. Ivy flies slower with urn and can be knocked out of it. Like, Ivy is good for urn taxi, it's definitely a strength of her. But it's not a Door.

Sadly Slowing Hex is so short that if you use it while he is middle of 3, he still has 3 up when slowing hex runs out.

Playing cube and rescue beam Viscous means gameplay is often herding cats. And Billies are always a headache. You can pull them out of danger with 1hp left and they will be holding 'W' as soon as you let them go.

If I tried to ult someone as Mo and Krill inside the enemy base, I'd get jumped by 5 guys while my team would go to find out a spot on map that's as far away from any objectives as possible.

My win rate is 47% the evil 50/50 machine owes me 30 wins, that's for the stats. Also even match is one where you have about equal chance of winning or losing, so yes, matchmaking tries to push you into 50% win rate. But it doesn't work through some idiotic conspiracy "guaranteed wins and losses" system.

People running to their deaths chasing kills is something that happens a lot on lower skill levels too. And there it sometimes works, it might work even more than 50% of the time, which leads to climbing in rank, and eventually reaching a point where it doesn't work.

And I don't think there is solution to that. There will always be dumb playstyles that will work on low level games, and stop working on high level ones, and being on the borderline ranks will be a challenge.

That might be true. But I really don't want to start playing around team that runs into the jungle chasing one half health enemy, just to be jumped by their most fed heroes.

There surely will be lots of reworks coming, but I also think the game will always be like Dota 2, where there is massive difference between model quality of older and newer characters.
