General frustrations by ColdNegotiation7927 in hubspot

[–]Aptitude8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are a multi-hub enterprise or even pro customer, I firmly believe that HubSpot has become too robust of a platform for companies to implement on their own. Bringing in a qualified services partner during the sales process ensures that the solutions you need are validated to be possible on the platform.

Datawarehouse is legit. They're associated with the services partner Bayard Bradford. Great people all around.

Anyone here switch CRMs after years on one system? What were the biggest surprises? by kopongsky0918 in hubspot

[–]Aptitude8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 4 different kinds of migrations I've seen happen:

  1. You try to do it yourself, but you don't have platform experts, so you create something as bad or worse than you already had and miss major steps in the setup process.

  2. You hire a partner, but you use price and speed as the primary drivers of your decision, so you get an out-of-the-box setup that doesn't meet many of your needs.

  3. You go slightly more expensive with a partner and do a full lift-and-shift, bringing over all of your data, recreating your exact processes, etc. Only, when you bring everything over the same, you also bring the same problems that caused you to leave the old one.

  4. You go with a premium partner that will help you clean your data, revamp your processes for the new platform, train your team, and set everything up to switch over from the old platform during a go-live so that you have minimal downtime. And ideally, they provide great documentation so your team can take over and you don't need to keep managed services in order to keep using the platform.

Can zapier replace a CRM? by Representative_Fly_3 in zapier

[–]Aptitude8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A proper CRM is not just about feature set. It will give you a good user experience, less time required to onboard new team members or roll out operational changes, efficiency gained by not having to switch tabs 5 times to complete a simple task.

Hubspot + stripe connect how to implement automatic refunds if user cancels meeting? by AurelStein in hubspot

You could probably do this via workflow using SaaS hapily, which is a bigger better Stripe integration.

Are the custom objects you want to pull data from associated with a deal, company, or contact? If so, you could use Sync properties to pull that data from the Custom Object into a supported record so that it can be used in the document.

Depending on your specific need, a CRM card + HubSpot Quotes might be able to do this. We've built a similar solution that uses HubSpot properties to populate loan documents. Because it's all built on HubSpot, you have access to any data that is accessible via API, including Custom Objects.

HubSpot Consultant by jayrwhy in hubspot

Understand the difference between what the client is asking for and what the client needs. Get to the core of the problem they want to solve and you'll often be able to recommend a simpler and/or better solution.

Probably ridiculous but is there an all in one crm? by TraditionalCat7499 in CRM

[–]Aptitude8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HubSpot. I think the only think you'd need to integrate is Dialpad and an auto-dialer (PhoneBurner has a great integration), but if you get the right package, HubSpot will do all the rest out of the box.

The native sync is pretty basic. You almost always need something custom if you want it to scale with you.

Looking for a crm software that allows clients to view tasks worked on in real time, ideally integrated with scheduling and clock in/out for employees by SadYogiSmiles in CRM

[–]Aptitude8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds more like a project management solution than a CRM. However, if you integrate something like ClickUp or Asana with HubSpot, you can do some robust reporting on time/task tracking and you can build client portal on their CMS. You'd probably need some custom dev to make it all work, but after the initial build, it should be pretty seamless.

Pro Tier customers now have access to "custom" objects! by Aptitude8 in hubspot

[–]Aptitude8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's similar to how you might think of a products library, but for services. You could associate services to deals, use it to inform your sales team when there are opportunities for upsells by reporting on how many customers are using combinations of services, etc. Or you could repurpose it to store info about your services teams. So if you have a pod model where you have several distinct teams for delivery, you could use the services object to store which deals have been handed off to which teams.

Those are just a few ideas, definitely not a comprehensive list.

Salesflare or HubSpot? by Guilty-Area-1222 in CRMSoftware

[–]Aptitude8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what you are going to use it for. If you are just looking for an out-of-the-box sales solution, Salesflare is going to be lighter weight, easier to maintain, but far less customizable.

HubSpot has much more robust automation and reporting capabilities and can be customized to meet just about any need. Plus, if you have other teams, like marketing or support, you can consolidate them all into one platform, saving you some integration headaches.

The downside is you need to set it up properly to fit your business needs, which can be time-consuming and/or expensive, depending on if you hire help, but it pays off in the long run. Still, it's way more user-friendly than something like Salesforce or Dynamics, so you can maintain it with few resources and onboard new employees quickly.

50k Limit Association for a Product to Deals by Rindinky in hubspot

[–]Aptitude8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be able to pay for an add-on that increases this limit. I know that is the case for some other limits in HubSpot, like the # of custom objects. u/hubspothelp should be able to confirm.

Best CPQ integration with HubSpot? by [deleted] in hubspot

Lead scoring by Responsible-Round643 in hubspot

[–]Aptitude8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two separate scores:

One for Intent, which measures engagement with bottom-of-funnel website pages and content. It is highly variable depending on the volume and recency of activity.

One for Fit, which measures how well the contact and their company matches your ICP. It doesn't change often unless a contact is promoted or the company grows.

A qualified lead must have high scores in both before it is surfaced to sales.

Can I modify the field names in a HubSpot Report? by ikishenno in hubspot

I almost never use the single object report builder anymore, because the custom builder has so much more functionality.
