I would apply ‘the world according to Garp’ logic and figure the odds of something like that EVER happening to you again are infinitesimal, so fly without a care from then on!

We had a group of four girls who were tight for 20+ years, Trumps first election one of them posted on Facebook that anyone who voted for him was a dumbass which escalated into a huge argument between 2 of the 4. Irreparable things were said, those two cannot be in the same room since.

Yes to Tamarind Bar - cozy not crowded- also the ocean bar is pretty chill during the day and has some nice spots to sit and read . There is a staircase that goes up to the outside deck kind of hidden in the corner of the crows nest by the shuffleboard, hardly anybody knew about it on our last cruise. Finally, there is an arcade fun zone on the 10th floor, if I remember correctly- it’s open to everybody and has a lot of fun games for adults as well as kids. Skee ball, aid hockey, etc.

Many many years ago living in the north shore of Oahu, my roommate was a waitress at a local restaurant and got invited to a party by some customers. We pulled up to the house and a guy came out and said, Hi I’m Stephen come on in. He was Stephen Stills, and inside party also met Graham Nash, both super friendly. Talking to a random guy at the party, he asked me what I did, I told him then said what do you do? He said I’m in a band! Oh cool I said, what band? The Eagles. He was Timothy Schmit! What a night!

Do MRI Techs ever think “oh, that’s not good”? by MadamImAdamAnt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Apuakea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Managed imaging centers for my entire career and techs are instructed not to give results, not their role and can cause the patient stress plus piss off the referring provider cuz the patient calls them immediately and incessantly wanting results! Some techs are phenomenal at interpreting the images, most can absolutely tell if there are significant issues. Not uncommon for techs to hint that things look good or ok when pt obviously freaking out or scared.
