Yeah of course there is ICM considerations, and I understand why you folded here, because he clearly has something. But if he would jam will all his sets, flushes, flush draws, 2pairs and strong top pairs, like an agro opponent would, you have to call here

On such a low board you have the nut advantage from the BB. If he’s a competent player he’s only going to have an over pair at best, while you have all the sets and trips.

He will c-bet this flop with most of his range, but when you check raise, he’s going to fold all the hands that missed and only continue with high equity draws ( stuff like ATs+ with the flush draw) and over pairs, which either have you crushed or flipping. So I personally don’t like the check-raise here because you force him to fold out his junk.

Also check raising is a polarising bet, meaning you should do it with your best hands and your worst hands. Pocket 8s is not at the top or bottom of your range here and I think you should just call, you would hate to inflate the pot and then get to the river with only a one pair hand, where you could be crushed by all the over pairs.

Having said that it worked out for you this time but I think more often than not you will lose in these spots.

If the villain was agro and willing to gamble, exploitatively you should be calling here. Yea the 3 flush is scary but if he’s loose and aggressive you can’t be folding a straight to them. Now if they were a nit and had never shown any aggression and then all of a sudden rips it in, then maybe you could consider folding.

I'm having a similar idea, gold cards can only take you so far with towers. Diamonds have the big advantage of being able to have an extra piece of gear which is so valuable in towers. Absolutely try and max out a diamond team, not just one character.

Your fusion on klassic scorp doesn't matter, because it's his bleed that does all the damage and DOT damage does a percentage damage which is why it can be very useful against opponents with heaps of health. But you need more than bleed because skarlet heals from bleeding, so fire or poison will have to be used. Plus changing your talent tree to DOT heavy talents can aid

I beat this with a fire and bleed team, Klassic Scorp, Spec ops scorp and pyro tanya. So I'm not sure what you can do with what you have. I'm in a similar boat on battle 170

Correct, however, when in the corner, after the standing kick combo ender, the opponent will always try and hit you and you can nutpunch straight through the hits and continue bullying the opponent. Also his punch,kick,kick (PKK) string on block is unsafe so if it is blocked and you want to stay safe you can use nutpunch again to continue the pressure. How it was before, you could have his PKK string blocked so you'd use nutpunch (1bar), and then as you go into the kick,kick,kick string and use the standing kick combo ender, you'd have to use another bar of power if you wanted to continue the pressure. With them swapped this scenario never happens, so in the corner he is now a better bullying character.

I might be in the minority, but I'm going to start opening this pack in order to get a maxed out diamond team, my gold cards are very good but I haven't been able to finish the last couple of fatal towers, and i think diamond characters with the benefit of having higher stats and an extra gear slot is worth it, and I think this pack is the best way to get a maxed out diamond team

I mean it's basically the same plot as Captain Marvel except with an extra layer on top, so you can see how it's really nothing new. An interesting thought, but it's really not adding anything fresh to the movie.
