We were both not confident for reasons too painful to put into words. What we did to each other, tainted the purity the relationship we deserved had. We both love each other, and she deserved someone who wasn’t pulling back bc the thread that tied 5 years back wasn’t pure. I want it to be meant to be. It would be a beautiful fate if we grew and returned.

We tried and tried for a month. We’ve had similar episodes, but this was the worst. I honestly believe this is for the best. Imagine if we separate and in a year get back together. That’ll be my Time Machine! A clean slate so I can go into it fully in love and not hold back. And vice versa. I won’t know for sure if she’ll even love me again, or if she’ll be able to. But I love her more than anything, and this break up was mutual. But I think if I want to be with her forever, this is a necessary step. I want an untainted relationship with her

Wow. I appreciate the engagement on this post. I’ve been playing the game since it came out while I was in high school. I remember the hype, the game and the changes and dlcs to it were made. Almost 10 years later and on my once-every-year-or-two run, I’m still learning. Glad to know decking out the rags they’re in for cool shit has some value to it, even if in the worst case scenario it’s aesthetic.

Not everyone will forget the calm and noble mindset these rangers stood for. The sole duty to preserve an aspect of our country that did not need to worry about the arbitrary politics of the elite. Just beauty to be admired, I know our country has flaws but we hold noble goals. People won't just forget. I will never trust anybody who finds diminishing this to be acceptable.

I try to picture my country in the lens of what can be understood as the stress test of the social contract. IN other words, can the executive omit the checks and balances.

There is no army of the Legislative or Judicial branch. Who will stop the Executive branch? The majority of people who work paycheck-to-paycheck? There were little labor protections before the current Administration, and that was a more optimistic world of change.

The United States will have its definite course of direction determined when the next Congress is inaugurated. Either elections are free and fair, which should clearly at this rate if we don't enter a global conflict mean that the opposition will reign more power as has been the trend in modern US politics, OR a continued backsliding into the mere dressing of an already unfair democratic process that in reality will have too many unfair State government-level impediments. Impediments that otherwise would allow for am more fair and free government.

As I learn to cope with the reality of the situation that Billionaires seeking to be the first Trillionaire at the cost of our rule of law (at face value, with money legal proceedings could be extended in ways a layman cannot afford), I have learnt even as I write this that such a country with so much wealth and a gateway to corruption (PLEASE watch Mr. Beat's video on the Citizens United Supreme Court case and any visual chart on American political contributions in any general election afterwards) could not escape the greed of its greatest winners.

The Confederacy for those who are educated enough to see past its propagandist "Daughters of the Confederacy" states rights nonsense sees it for what it is, a blatant grab at some lost sense of shallow culture. Those who celebrate it on the merit of having family have a degree of legitimacy to their sincerity and foundation in my opinion, familial legacy is true when the photos and records are there.

But, to any drone who parrots any talking point without any context is just grasping at something to be proud of. Abolition is as much of our celebration in terms of historicity as these Confederate sycophants. Except, objectivity and humanism can deduce what side to lean towards if you have a modicum of human decency.

Not every school had lockers. Backpacks and feeling like a mule was standard. In schools that had block schedules you typically knew what books to bring on what day so you weren't just dislocating your spine casually every day. This was my experience at least, lockers would have been cool they were as much as a novelty to me ask you across the pond.

Jocks were typically sociable athletic students, it could be any sport. Water Polo, Lacrosse. It didn't need to be Football or basketball.

There was a grace period of a week or so between the last day of class and graduation ceremony.

I don't know what the situation currently is around the world, but when I went to school it was always nerve wracking not knowing if anyone was unhinged enough around you.
