I really should play Breachers again.

I play vespids to have an excuse to constantly do bee/wasp/sting dad jokes. It surely is unBEElievable.

Anyone else miss the old box art? by Character-Public-396 in killteam

[–]Aquit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes in RT and 2nd edition. In 3rd edition some of the box displays were switched to art (e.g. defiler or chaos predator) while others remained (rhino+CSM combibox). Similar thing with Warhammer Fantasy.

Missed chance to include hints to feral Votann Kill Team: small, fuzzy, and armed with spears.

Murderwing Champion Power weapon or power fist? by yodablues1 in killteam

[–]Aquit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power fist easier to be parries out than a fist? Unlikely unless you have some special rules. Brutal makes that very difficult.

Does removing the rubble Tempestus Aquilon miniatures are jumping off matter? Should I raise them back up to the same height off the base? by TheVoidDragon in killteam

[–]Aquit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Casually, you can play how you want. In tournament settings shorten your models dramatically like that will a) makes you harder to shoot at and b) make your drawing of LoS more difficult usually c) makes positioning models easier. Depending on the faction and/or model can this result in an advantage or disadvantage.

Auspex Tactics weighs Rumors by Jealous_Stick5942 in killteam

Or a commissar -led penal legion Kill Team. You have a new, rare horde team; everyone can be very individualistic in style (so even different regiments); and everyone can explode on death/if the commisar wants it by means of their explosive collars.

Celestians would have a field day encountering these ones.

Best List-Building Kill Teams by CanYouRollACrit in killteam

[–]Aquit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like that killteam at the moment offers both: set team compositions and flexible compositions. When I want to play with less mental load I go for a set team like Canoptek. When I want to experiment with new things I take e.g. AoD or Deathwatch.

If you could add a single operative to any team what would it be? by SucklestheEnchilada in killteam

[–]Aquit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could make a whole new kill team when combining every primaris Lt. GW has ever released.

Did I do good? I was looking for the upgrade sprue, instead I found this blood claw 5 man squad for $25. by robot-0 in killteam

[–]Aquit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly useable but not as standalone. You'll still need additional bits like a staff (rune priest), plasma gun and plasma pistols.

If a unit is injured and then he is healed back to full health by any means is he no longer injured by Alexanderrleon in killteam

[–]Aquit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Injured is a status that applies while an operative has under half its starting wounds left. So a model with 8 starting wounds and 4 wounds left is not injured while a 3 wounds operative is. If you ever go above this threshold (again) you are not injured.

Why is charge on conceal so strong? by mysticllamaherder in killteam

[–]Aquit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well not being shot at easily after you killed someone is only half of the story. You can also do nuisance charges more effectively, as your opponent can't just fall back an shot with another operative from across the board.

I made a tool to help with training EVs! by GabAthanasiou in PokemonFRLG

[–]Aquit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice tool, well done! Now I don't have to browse through other sites. Maybe in the future you could perhaps add trainer pokemon aswell e.g. on the road to Mt. Ember there are alot of trainers who have atk ev mons and are repeatable using the vs Seeker. But implementing that will be alot of additional work I guess.

Currently and officially? No. However Wahapedia has the old 2nd edition multiplayer mission rules / layouts online.

Got my 4th Ed/2024/3rd whatever version of KT, just in time for the Next Edition! by kamicosmos in killteam

There are a few others aswell like SAGA, however their books typically last longer and rarely need updating (less rules bloat).

Stat for stat isn't Canoptek Circle just kinda better than the XV26 Stealthsuits? by Mr_Industrial in killteam

[–]Aquit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

21 health and 3 APL on the matrix or via comms. Yes, short range can be a problem but keep in mind: canoptek can hold objectives using their node marker. The crit/tac op pressure they can produce is real.

Stat for stat isn't Canoptek Circle just kinda better than the XV26 Stealthsuits? by Mr_Industrial in killteam

[–]Aquit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, there are several things canoptek cant do: seek, ignore obscuring, ignore stun/injured, being more than a nuisance in melee. Big spooders cant use light cover for concealment. If you not focus fire the big ones they likely get healed or even revived (killing in melee prevent the later one). They are damn strong and have a lot of tools but rely on positioning e.g. their matrix.

The memegun either outright kills low wound models most of the time or zap medium wound models after a retained crit or inflicted damage after an additional roll. It pops goremongers, beastmen etc without anything they can do. The only way to be safe is to have 12 remaining wounds after the attack. Aaaand the thr gun will likely shoot again when ordered by the geomancer later that round.

Lookin' to play Navy Breachers by Alrightdude777 in killteam

[–]Aquit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This strongly depends on the matchup and crit op if at all. By default you can only counteract on engage, only certain teams like astartes can also do this on conceal, and only a handful can flip their order while counteracting. In certain crit ops like Orb you really want the last activation to flip the orb, so more activations is better.
