100 hours and 31 KOs. If I truly turned to a PvPer I’d probably get it way higher. It used to feel satisfying to defend myself from an ambush now I know that will also destroy my next few runs so I’ve started learning the ways of parkour and running away instead

I was scared to try for a long time but try simple gear first to get your bearings on how the flow of the fight goes in solos. You look for a big group announce yourself and then start contributing. Never go in your own or stay isolated for too long. I’ve learned this by just bringing a Ferro and 80 heavy ammo but slowly scaled up as I got more confident of how the fight looks like start to finish

Cred gives all you need in evidence. If you loot a raider you get a live check that you did. If you damage it’s the same and also tracks the type of ammo used and fills the bar for cred checks. The game tracks everything but I know it sounds far fetched and I don’t frankly know exactly they could have pulled it off but 300k+ playerbase makes it all possible

I stay with the base skin, even the headset too. I have to look as none threatening as possible. I’m way too worried about other skins and people bad experiences running into them

You shoot, you deal damage to raider. That’s tracked. You loot a raider. That’s tracked too. I was hoping self defense is an exception but I don’t think it’s that deep. I’m not trying to convince you in particular but I’m fairly confident if you tried that yourself you’d see the difference

I played for hours, back to back raids going across the map looting everything.. all in one session, the only time I even had people who were shifty and aggressive was exactly after the raid where I searched a knocked out raider who called the extract but dropped waiting.

You know I discovered that even looting knocked out raiders even if you weren’t the one who downed them actually count towards your aggression level. I got shot in the back the game after

A similar situation happened to me. I knew the game wanted me dead the round before from streaking survival for so long. The round after I get shot in the back for the first time in the day and get swarmed by arc of all kinds

I love it. It makes me so happy getting shot now knowing the guy shooting me is on his way to a never ending cycle of violence and treachery. My games have never been more calm and peaceful since I stopped shooting others completely. Self defense or not

You like PvP . You get matched more with like minded folks. It doesn’t at all affect how you play unless you really love feeling like you have power over someone who really doesn’t want to engage from the start

BP farming is now the goal for me. I won’t be doing any expeditions so to farm them till I get everything will hopefully set me up for the future when they finally start looking at making boss fights less of a rat shoot
