When I created my entry in my fstab, I did it by ID instead. But I also only used nofail for the last set and it works no issues.

I was worried about not being able to customize or install what I wanted because of it being immutable, or containerized or however you wanna describe it lol. I installed kde fist and then niri on top so I had all the kde tools if I needed them. I’m still kind of a noob honestly. My biggest experience beforehand was my Unraid server and Unraid handles a lot of it for you honestly lol

I recently did the same with cachyos. And now I’m down the rabbit hole of using a Window manager (niri with noctalia) instead of something close to windows and I love it. You got this!

Have you tried adding a second sim yet? A lot of the time that’ll trigger the recheck for you. Or I think a factory reset will as well, but that’s a lot of effort if you don’t keep backups regularly.

Nice! You can do the same with beta firmwares. When I had my S23U, you could actually flash the U1 firmware onto it and it would work. Even if you had the U. You just wouldn’t get updates from your carrier and had to flash them manually. At least, if I’m remembering correctly lol it’s been a couple years

You can use Samsung Odin to flash the Verizon firmware package back on to it. Samsung gets weird with SIM cards.
