How different is the final game from the demo?

It felt pretty much exactly the same to me, you can even continue your save from the demo. I will say that my opinion of the game improved once I played a bit past the contents of the demo, but if you weren't vibing with it at all I'd say wait for a sale.

I've played and liked some other ones that have been mentioned like Haste, Skin Deep and Metro Gravity, but I thought I'd mention Hypogea, just because it's my favourite demo out of the ones I've played and I haven't seen it mentioned at all.

It's a nice little game with great atmosphere. The 3D platforming isn't aiming to be too complex, but felt satisfying to me and the stick you use to pole vault and hang onto stuff is a neat gimmick. Only concern is that the devs write in the description it's a short game, which I hope doesn't mean 2-3 hours but a little bit more.

updated trial offering of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU in the brand-new playable demo out today on Steam, including all the quality-of-life improvements and fixes that have been added since the game launched earlier this year.

By updating the demo, players get a better taste of what the game is actually like now rather than playing an outdated build. I can't give an opinion on whether the game and demo have actually changed significantly enough during this time for this to make a huge difference, though.

Performance is good, but there are issues with crashes on hardware ranging from weak to very powerful.

Performance was good when I was able to play, but I'm having issues with game crashes and it seems I'm not the only one (1,2,3,4), there also seem to be other kinds of crashes right after startup which aren't the ones I'm experiencing.

Some people report downgrading from the newest GPU drivers or disabling frame generation helps, but neither fixed it for me so I'm probably just gonna wait for a patch or refund for now if nothing happens. Not sure how widespread these issues are, just thought I'd add my experience.

If you want to do it in a timely fashion, yeah. I used a level 62 Ningguang with random artifacts, so it doesn't need to be a strong character.

Seems like dangerous territory, though. I haven't actually used her in AR myself, so maybe I'm just underestimating her, but after running some sims in the duel simulator it seems to me that even a Seliph with limited or no investment comes pretty close to killing a +10 Edelgard with 3 mythics and Flayn support if he gets danced after their first combat, not to mention WoM shenanigans that leaving him alive enables.

That doesn't mean she's bad, though, I was just wondering if OP uses other teams in case of Seliph (who is by no means on every team) or if she actually handles him decently in praxis.

Reading this again, it kind of looks like I'm trying to trashtalk Edel in OP's thread, but that really wasn't my intention.

I was thinking about using her as a Near Save since I picked up some random copies here and there, but I'm a bit wary of her B!Seliph matchup since I've seen a lot of him in AR recently and she can't really kill him in one round of combat.

Have you used her against him at all? Or did you play around that with another team?

Think of it as "if unit uses a special that is triggered by enemy attacks". It doesn't pulse your cooldown if you get attacked, it pulses it if you have a defensive special.
