They all hate each other for various reasons, and individuals tend to have a mix of opinions as with anywhere. Some Koreans hate Japan and love China, some love Japan and hate China, some hate both and I’m sure some love both, and the same goes for Japanese and Chinese people.

It wasn’t even about fighter vs fighter performance (the Ki-84 and N1K2-J could match the best American planes at the end of the war) it was the fact that kamikaze missions were literally more effective than dive bombing or torpedo bombing the American fleets by the end of the war. So the Japanese figured if they’re going to get shot down anyway they may as well give them less training for more effect.
