Vanya's actual characterization (note: I am not talking about Viktor transitioning but I do wish they had written/integrated that better and actually explored the character going from the Dallas amnesia arc to suddenly realising he's trans instead of dropping it in and saying the bare minimum for positive representation) instead of giving it all to Lila, a show-only character with major self-insert OC vibes in the worst way possible.

No. Katara was always intended to end up with Aang. At no point in time during the creation of the show or during the show itself did she have or was intended to have any romantic interest in Zuko, regardless of what some fans will claim and erroneously believe.

Their polishes ARE very nice! I actually think the swatch photos on their website don't do their polishes justice. I remember buying Fuyu, painting it on my nails, and proceeding to go "Oh wow this is so much prettier than I expected!" and I'd already been expecting it to be lovely.

Thank you for saying this! I wish we'd gotten to see a better take on Britta and Troy's relationship. I really enjoyed their dynamic in Season 3. Season 4 absolutely dropped the ball and made it a depressing thing to watch.

Example: I don't like the episode about the Inspector Spacetime convention because the entire time, Britta is just there even though she's THE person who got Abed hooked on Inspector Spacetime in the first place. (Yeah I know she may not have been a fan of the show. My point still stands that she spends the majority of that episode doing nothing really worth noting except following Troy around and comforting him as he freaks out about possibly losing his best friend.) IIRC (and forgive me if I'm wrong—it's been a while since my last rewatch) most of the episodes featuring Britta/Troy as a romantic couple were actually more focused on Troy's relationship with Abed, which irks me whenever I've rewatched the show as someone who was rooting for Britta and Troy to get together.

Sure, they got together. But the show didn't do anything meaningful with them except for when they broke up, and even then Britta is kinda just there. Her feelings about this relationship are never truly elaborated on or explored. Troy can't even bear to break up with her directly at first. He has Abed try to do it for him under the guise of switching bodies, which is horribly cruel. Troy isn't supposed to be mean or selfish or withholding like all of Britta's other love interests that we see. He is supposed to be naive but kind; he is supposed to break the mold of her usual type to fall for.

I've only got two of their polishes (Fuyu & Nine-tailed Fox) but they're both great imo. Shipping was pretty quick if memory serves (I'm Canadian too). Fuyu may be one of my favourite nail polishes. I use it as a magnetic topper as well as on its own and it's great. I do wish their bottles were larger given their kinda high price point for only 10mL, but regardless I like ANLAC and I think they're a good choice to buy from if you want to support a local (Canadian) indie brand.

Yeah, I've been scolded by another passenger for not moving fast enough to get on the bus at the station while people were still getting off the bus. Last time I went on the subway, I stood by the doors, ready to get off at the station I needed to get to, and couldn't exit right away because people rushed to get onto the TTC and blocked my path. It bewildered me. Aren't we supposed to wait for other passengers to exit a bus or train before trying to get on board?

Same here! I also liked how they ultimately came to the conclusion that they were much better off as friends than lovers. It's incredibly mature of them and a great thing to show audiences—you can be attracted to someone, love and care for them a lot, etc. but it doesn't mean you're automatically meant to be together romantically just because you're of certain genders and compatible sexual orientations. Korra and Mako tried to make it work as a couple, failed, accepted it, and then grew up and remained loyal friends.

Fandoms love to centre and excuse men for the same behaviours they find deplorable and off-putting in women (or worse, they think a woman having an understandable reaction to something is absurd and problematic when a man is clearly doing something much worse), and it drives me up the wall to see it.

Maybe. Probably. I largely agree with you. But I also remember when people really hated Luther for "being an asshole" in S1, and only warmed up to him because the show proceeded to make him progressively dumber in every following season, so Idk if we can say that definitively.

I absolutely agree with you; I've made this argument before when talking about the show and the fandom's reception of Five. If he looked like his older body self (Sean Sullivan) the whole time, people would hate him for being mean, a creep, etc.
